Mew is an extremely common Pokemon, they should be traded for the extremely rare Metapod.

To save the game press the "delete file button"
It works 70% of the time so if it doesn't work just keep trying

If you see any shiny pokemon, don't catch it! Just don't, for Arceus' sake. It's an unfixed glitch and obtaining it will corrupt your save file and delete your whole game!
