It's a thing that does things in battle that sometimes do random things and sometimes it makes things happen if another thing happens and it may also make a thing happen if a thing does a thing to the thing that can do the thing. ( I HAVE NEVER SAID THING SO MANY TIMES IN MY LIFE XD )

You get a full team of level one magicarps, give them each a different type of poke-ball, and then randomly encounter a wild pokemon in the tall grass. You then let all the magicarps faint except one. Then you throw a normal poke-ball at the opposing pokemon. The battle will end. Look in your party. Instead of that last magicarp, there will be an Arceus.

How do you get your first pokemon?
