Delcatty ended up swallowing some sand an started coughing. "Delcatty? What's wrong? I said use sing!! USE SING!!!" The trainer shrieked. Delcatty tried to use sing again but fell over, coughing.

The sand storm disapated a bit revealing Phoenix near Delcatty. She charged and used bite at the same time.

Delcatty looked up and saw Phoenix running at her. She jumped up and ran away, shrieking in terror. "GRRRRR!!! DELCATTY USE THUNDERBOLT! NOW!!" The trainer yelled as loud as she could. "AND DO IT RIGHT FOR ONCE!"

Phoenix continued to use bite, trying to land a hit. She didn't like the way the trainer was speaking to her pokmeon.

Delcatty started running in circles,trying to throw Phoenix off of her. "UGH YOU STUPID POKÉMON, WHY DONT YOU LISTEN TO ME?!?! USE ICY WIND!!" Her trainer screamed. Delcatty then stopped running in circles and used icy wind.

The attack hit phoenix full blast and thru her off, causing her to slide some distance away. She was panting and struggling to get up. NO! she thought, still trying to get up. I cant give up!! I am not done yet!! She struggled more as she started to glow, evolving...

"Good job! Now use- wait, it's EVOLVING? Meh, less work for me! Now use ice beam!" The trainer called out. Delcatty nodded, leaping into the air, and used ice bean. "B-be careful Phoenix!!" Serenity called out in a worried tone.

Phoenix evolved into Vibrava and sandstorm activated at the same time. The ice Beam hit the sandstorm and created a huge dust and ice cloud.

"Eeeekkkk!!!!" Both the trainer and the Decatty cried at the same time. Delcatty then turned and ran off into the forest. "Hey, come back!!!" Her trainer cried. She then turned to Phoenix and said, "I'll find you again, and when I do, I will catch you!" She then ran off in the direction her Delcatty had run. "Wow! Phoenix, that was great!! And congratulations on evolving, you look even cooler now!!" Serenity said cheerfully, skipping over to her.

Phoenix was hovering slightly before landing next to Serenity and collapsing. "Thanks..." She said panting. "I'm tired..." She said with a small smile. "Lets eat some oran berries."

"Agreed!" Serenity jumped up and ran over to the Oran berry tree. She then grabbed a couple using vine whip and started eating. "Mmm, these are delicious!! Much better than that Cherri berry..." She grumbled

Phoenix stood, then flew over and ate a few from the top. "The ones up here are really sweet." She said, tossing a few down to Serenity. "Hey... I just realized something..." She said, looking down at Serenity from a branch near the top.

Serenity picked up one of the berries Phoenix had thrown and took a bite. "A little too sweet for me!" She giggled, shaking her head. "What is it?" She ask curiously, looking up at her.

"I can fly now, and once we are all rested and such, i wanna see if i can carry you." Phoenix said, smiling. "This will make our adventuring a lot easier. We can always walk still, but we can cover lots of ground now."

"Yep!!" She responded cheerfully. She had never flown before except for the plane ride from Kanto, and she was super excited. As long as she doesn't drop me, I should be fine! Anyways, it seems super fun!! she thought.

Phoenix hovered lower and grabbed Serenity, making sure she had a good hold on her, then flew higher into the air. Soon they were on their way at a good pace. "You are lighter than I thought you would be." Phoenix said as they flew. "So where do you wanna go?"
