Serenity fell to the ground, stunned by the attack, and started to glow. Her form started to change, and the next thing she new, she had evolved into an Ivysaur! "Aw yeah!" She grinned. Though her HP was rather low, she wasn't going to give up. She then took a few steps towards Phoenix and used sleep powder.

Phoenix used sandstorm again as a shield, but this time cause the whole little battle field to be covered in it. From within the sand storm she used dig once more.

Serenity growled in disgust. She hated sand and this made it even worse. She jumped up into the air using a mixture between poison powder and bullet seed, hoping to hit Phoenix.

Phoenix waited underground till Serenity landed then burst from the ground nearly right in front of her. She used moon blast once more at near point blank range.

Serenity was hit square in by the moonblast, and she went flying through the air and hit a tree. She then slowly got up and used a sleep powder/razor leaf combination

Phoenix dodged, but some of the razor leaves did manage to hit her. She shook her head a bit, then did one lase Moonblast.

Just as Serenty's protect fell, there was phoenix right in front of her thru the smoke left from the blocked attack. Phoenix used bite and the momentum carried them a bit.

Serenity let out a cry as Phoenix bit her. Just as she was about to give up, the memories returned. "I don't understand why I EVER picked YOU as my starter! You're weak and you always give up! Maybe if you didn't give up you could get stronger!" "I'm NEVER giving up AGAIN!" She shouted angrily, throwing Phoenix off her with renewed strength. She then ran at her full speed and used take down.

Phoenix took the full hit, but landed on her feet. She watched Serenity closely for a bit. Then she charged at her, full speed, using sandstorm once more.

Suddenly, a teenage girl with straight red her to her waist with a yellow bow, green eyes, and freckles, wearing a white shirt with a pink skirt emerged from the bushes. "Oh what a lovely little Trapinch! I think I'll catch you!" She squeaked excitedly. "Go Delcatty!"

Phoenix burst from the ground but instead of being surprised that the opposing pokemon was gone, she just used Sandstorm on the hole it disappeared into.
