i Don't know if This Idea is Suggested Before.

We Can only Get Event Points By Buying Them With Small Nuggets Or Obtaining Them from Boxes Etc.

My Suggesting Is That We Should be Able to get Event Points by Tasks Like This:
Free Event Points = 1 Event Point
Interact with some Pokémon/Eggs! = 500 = 2 Event Point
Interact even more! = 1500 = 4 Event Points

Weekly Task
Collect 20x Charmendar And 20x Bulbasures = 40 Event Points
Collect 100x Bug Gems = 40 Event Points

And So on....

Pls Comment if you did not like this Idea

The other tasks sound a bit weird, like why do we have to collect bulbasuars and Charmanders?

Most of these tasks are already available for the Dream Points. As far as I can see, this is just a suggestion to make things easier.

However, the difference between DPs and Event Points is that DPs are meant to be "free to get", whereas the main purpose of the Event Points is to buy them with Nuggets. Obviously you can still get DPs with Nuggets and EVs with free ways. But this is just a minority.
