I just lost 227 money from putting in the price i wanted to pay when i already hade a bid & thenit added it & i tryed to change it & it added that much again & it took me for ever to get over 1000 money & then i go & waste it on a Finneon level 5 at that!

You can't change your bids.
The button "Add" does what it tells you: It ADDS the amount of Pokédollar you input to your current bid.

I fell for it too... I thought if you enter 200, your bid will be 200, and not 200 added to your last bid ^^' I think most people think the auction works that way.

My suggestion for the auction house wouldn't be to change how the bidding part works, that I'm fine with, just watch how much you're adding, it's that.. if you lose, you should be able to get your money back. o-o

It's kind of disappointing to lose all my money and I didn't even win the pokemon.

...Nevermind, my money magically... reappeared. o_O; Must've been a delay.

Yes you get all your money back if you don't win the auction. As said several times here and there in the forum, such things may take some time to be transferred.
