Hearing sarin listing out the the missions then she looked over at the machop and said "is there any easier missions. You shouldnt be giving out hard missions to recruits. It shouldnt be this difficult just to join"

"What's there is what you have to choose from. If you wanted easy, you should have been here yesterday," the Machop replied with a huff.

Sarin scratched behind his ear with his hind claws as he looked over the missions again.
"Well, if we take the Storm Summit one, we can probably avoid danger, if we're careful. Or the Flooded Cavern may be safe, since it depends on what they need protection from... What do you think?"

Tusk thinks about the options before saying "storm summit may have ground types. I dont think thats our best option considering all 3 of them flooded caveren probbably has alot of water types so it may be a better option and the forbbiden forest may still be a good option since its a forest it would be mostly grass and bug wouldnt it ."

"Hm... I didn't consider the typing, but if another guild can't get through for whatever reason, it may be much tougher than it seems. Do you think we can deal with it?" he asked, wanting to be sure before accepting the mission.

"Alright," the Nidoran said as he took the flier from the board, so that others would know that the mission was taken. After all, there was absolutely nothing worse than accepting a mission then finding out later that someone else completed it so you wasted your time.

"Forbidden Forest is in the same direction that we came from, but it's about three days to get there... Then we'll have to find the guild and find out what's going on with that before the three day trip back to here. Are you sure you're ready for this?" he asked, wanting to be absolutely sure before heading off.

Sarin gave a nod and followed the Zorua, nervous about what lay ahead for them.

After a day of walking, the Nidoran felt sore from his claws all the way to his ears. As the sun started to vanish behind the trees, he just collapsed with a yawn.
"Why don't we rest here until mornin'?" he asked, already closing his mismatched eyes.

The warmth from the morning sun woke the Nidoran up. He gave a yawn, then froze as he felt fur against his body. He quickly whipped his head to see what it was, then smiled when he saw the Zorua sleeping close to him.

"That's right, we're trying to join the guild," he reminded himself, then looked around to see where they were. It looked like they were pretty deep in the woods, but he knew they were still a ways out before they were to the Forbidden Forest.

Tusk woke up when she felt the nido ran move she opend her eyes seeing sarin was already awake . She says to sarin "morning. You ready to keep going?"

The Nidoran gave a nod.
"Yeah, it's best to go ahead and keep moving. But keep an eye out for food, so that we can eat sometime today," he said, then got up and stretched before taking the lead again.

Sarin stopped mid-step and looked up to see the apple tree.
"Wow, that's a lot of food," he said with a smile plastered to his face.

He made his way to the tree and dug his claws in to climb up it. Once he was on one of the lower branches, he looked down at Tusk.
"Do you want to climb up and get some, or would you prefer me to toss some down to you?"

"Just toss them down here" tusk says watching sarin climb up the tree. She then says "its a good idea is i stay down here to make sure the apples dont roll away"

Sarin gave a nod, thinking the same thing, plus he figured it'd be hard for Tusk to climb up with her small paws while his sharp claws were perfect for it.

"Alright, but be careful to not get hit by them," he called down, then looked up at the nicer apples near the top of the tree. He proceeded to climb up to the thinner branches and eased his way out onto one. As he got to the apples on it, he carefully cut them with his claws and let them fall to the ground, where Tusk was hopefully waiting and alert for them.

Tusk called back "will do"


Tusk rolled each of the apples that fell to the ground over to the base of the tree so they wouldnt roll off. She the called back up "is that all of them?"

Sarin was reaching for one last apple that was just out of range to safely reach it. As his claws lightly brushed against the red skin, he heard Tusk call up to him.

"Is that all of them?"

Startled by her suddenly talking to him, he flinched, cutting the apple down, but at the same time completely losing his footing. He closed his eyes as he felt the air rushing around his body, not wanting to watch as he fell out of the tree towards the ground below.

The Nidoran felt himself landing on something soft, his defenseless belly feeling fur along it. He opened his mismatched eyes and quickly scrambled up when he saw that Tusk had somehow managed to get under him and break his fall.

"S-sorry! Are you okay?" he asked rather hurriedly, hoping that he hadn't hurt her, with both of them being small Pokémon and all.
