Higher or Lower Mathematical Logic
Forum-Index → Suggestions → Rejected → Higher or Lower Mathematical LogicLets say the Higher or Lower game said 8, mathematical logic would prove it would be, lets say, lower, as you can only go 2 higher, but you can go 7 lower. Chances are, it should be that the answer is lower.
But then it says I am, wrong? Why does this game have to based off full luck? :o It makes me skeptical. :/
And, sometimes, if it was the number 3, and I said Higher, it would say I would be wrong..again?
Could you make this more of mathematical logic? If you do implement this, I wouldn't care about the number 5 being luck based, as there is no certain mathematical answer for 5.
Also, along with this suggestion, could you make it a little cheaper to get 100 game chips for the Game Center? Like 100 PD = 100 GC (If you don't like this mini-suggestion for the GC being cheaper, I can guess why, I could also understand if this whole suggestion altogether wasn't implemented :) )
About the 1st suggestion, if we were to make it based off of Mathematical Logic, then people who are Professional at Math can easily reach the Ranklist, which would make it not fair. It's better to keep it as luck, rather than using Mathematical Probabilities.. unless Riako already did that but we didn't realize it.
It seems to be similar to the pikachu higher or lower game from a little mini-game system thingy that I used to own. Most of the time I didn't get past a row of three because it would break probability, but it was a game. At least this one on the site isn't that evil, so I think you should just put up with it.
Also, it's the same as playing higher or lower in real life with a deck of cards. Mathmatical probability only gets you so far, since it WILL eventually break that just based on luck.
Let's say if the first number is 9.
Then the chance of winning with the answer "Lower" is ~91%.
And the chance of winning with the answer "Higher" is ~9%.
Where is the point in the game when the chance of winning is always 100% and you only have to select the more logical answer?
Of course such games exist and are perfectly well done, but definitely not for a very simple Higher or Lower game.
