Mr. Pocket opened the door. "Hello, there," he said.
"Hi! My name is Yuki, and Professor Guernsey asked us to deliver the Pokémon Egg that you found to him," Yuki explained.

(Just so you know, Mr. Pocket is Mr. Pokémon, though I think you figured it out.)

Mr. Pocket smiled. "Alright," he said. "Ah, yes! I should first introduce you to Professor Austrina."
Professor Austrina looked up. "Professor Guernsey entrusted you with a Pokémon, right? He always has a knack for finding soon-to-be-talented Pokémon Trainers. Here - I'll give you a PokéDex. It's an encyclopedia that I've filled with all of my knowledge, and you can fill it up further by scanning a Pokémon." The Professor handed one PokéDex to Chloe and one to Yuki.
"Thank you very much, sir!" Yuki said. "Chloe, you should scan your Nymanti to see which gender it is!"

Chloe nodded and allowed the Manits out of its pokeball. She scanned it to find that it was female. She showed the pokedex with its information to Yuki while she returned Nymanti to her pokeball and placed it on her bag clip.

"May we please have the Egg so that we can deliver it to Professor Guernsey?" Yuki asked.
"Ah! Right! Here it is," Mr. Pocket said, carrying the Egg to them. It was buried in fluff to keep it safe.

"Right," he replied. He pulled out his PokéDex and scanned his Odark, who was male, and his Albis, who was female. "Albis should evolve once level twelve," he noted, reading the screen. "That's faster than most Pokémon. It'll probably say how to evolve her again after she evolves the first time."
(Isn't that the first time Chloe has said anything this entire time? O.O)
