So I was just in the gem exchange and I noticed that someone had a whole lot of exchanges up that were just 1 fighting gem for 1 flying. I must admit it was rather annoying having to scroll through all these identical exchanges to find the gems I was looking for. What I am suggesting is a way to condense identical exchanges from the same user.

This is how it could work:
When setting up the trade, it will ask you how many times you want to make that offer. Then, on the gem exchange, offers that have more then one will be on the same line and have a x... that shows how many of that trade are available. When you click on that trade you could also choose how many of those trades you want to offer on, so you could do them all with one click.

Here are some edited screen shots to show you what I mean:

So, first off, here is the problem I am trying to solve - Multiple identical gem exchanges from the same person, cluttering the Gem Exchange:

Next, here is how it could be solved - When setting up your exchange, you are able to select the amount of times you want to make that same exchange:

Then, when you view the Gem Exchange, each trade has a number beside it indicating how many times that trade is being offered:

And when you go to exchange the gems, you can choose how many times you want to make the exchange:

(This will of course be limited by the amount of exchanges available and how many gems you have)

Full support!
I was just recently searching through the gem exchange to see if there were any good offers I could pick out for normal gems, but it was full of a lot of the same player's trades of 1 gem for another.
This suggestion would make everything much easier with these kinds of situations! ^-^

Well, I guess both suggestions would get the same result, but I think mine is different in that a user would still be able to make as many trades as they like (especially useful to trade shop owners etc.), but they would be compressed.

Thanks everyone for the support.

And bump. :P

Nooo, it's saying that identical offers from the same person will be put together... It's nothing to do with searches, it's to do with tidying up the gem exchange.

Bumping. Also, I have added some edited screenshots in the first post to help explain what I mean and show you how it could work.

I have to say, I love this suggestion much more than the other one. That's because it doesn't restrict the users, it doesn't restrict the buyers, and it tidies up the gem collector's exchange page. Plus, if I want to complete five offers from one person that are identical, it would make doing so much quicker and easier to do.

So full support from me, while the other one is still not supported by me, lol.

Bump. And right now, with all the SPAM from users doing one for one exchanges, this is really kind of needed :/

I mean, this is ridiculous:
Show hidden content
1 Fighting for 1 electric

And this is only about half of the spam flood :/

and that is most likely the same user as the original reason for this suggestion .w.
it'd be nice to have both a search option as well as JustMe's suggestion being implemented uwu;

Thanks Navuso, yes, that's exactly the sort of thing that inspired this idea. I think not only will it tidy up the gem exchange, making finding what you are looking for a lot easier, but it will also help those users with a slow connection as the page would load faster.

Full support, I hate scrolling and scrolling because someone made the identical gem exchanges and it gets on my nerves
