chester pinned his ear's back and sat up, sighed a little as he
looked away from the cave.
buster and hazel were both mumbling to each other, keeping their
voice's low so the others couldn't hear them.
swift was still grooming draco's shaggy pelt, which matched her
shaggy coat perfectly.
''mom let me go!!'' he barked loudly.
thorn snickered and kept his distance from his mother, that way he
didn't get groomed.
moon rammed her head into his side and made him tumbled over to
swift, who put her paw over thorn's side to keep him from running
away. savage was sound asleep in one of the corner's of the cave.
Venom trotted out of the cave (he was about the size of a young
almost trainee) and sat next to Chester. "What's the trouble?" He
asked, pushing a fish at the he-wolf.
"Your poisonous words do not cause me to repel," Venom replied
almost coldly. "I can tell by your tone that it's more than
nothing, Chester. What's up?" He asked, tail flicking.
chester looked at venom, ear's perked forward and eye's wide.
''well, you certainly sound like you're adoptive mother venom'' he
said, kind of impressed.
Venom looked at Chester from the side, his eyes deadly like poison.
"I'm still a pup, Chester, but I'm not an idiot. Had it got
something to do with Fern?" He asked calmly, as if his annoyance
and anger was being held down easily.
(Edited the post my keyboard was being lazy.)
Venom's teeth gritted, his eyes narrowing. "Stubborn," he said
under his breath, rising to his paws. Venom padded into the cave,
his eyes flickering on Hazel. He swiftly looked away, sitting in
front of Luna. The ebony affectionately nuzzled his ear with her
nose and silently returned to eating. Fern just looked painfully
out the cave, her eyes nervously flicking away from Chester. Venom
sighed, shaking his head.
"Hey," Luna said, burying her chin in her darkly colored paws. Fern
glanced at Chester, her eyes sorrowful and apologetic. She looked
away, her ears slightly pushed back.
chester sighed and stood back up, walking down and over to
fern.
''hey.. how about we head out and we can talk...'' he murmured
quietly, keeping his voice hushed enough so only she could hear
him.
