I think there should be a category on the rank-list for the HeroWalker called "Most Steps Made". This is pretty self explanatory.

No Support, The Herowalker is something not all People have access to making it not fair for everyone, everything on the Ranklist is accessible to all users, but most users don't have a Android. Even if everyone has a Android, not all people can get the chance to walk much. Having this implemented would be unfair to most users

@TheBeast Most of the rank-list isn't fair. Such as Most Shiny's. Not everyone can get the pokeradar.

But a Pokeradar and a phone are completely different things.
A phone requires real money, and android's aren't exactly cheap. Pokeradar's only need virtual money which can be obtained many ways, so it is possible for anyone to get a Pokeradar, but it may not be possible for someone to buy an expensive phone. (Maybe because they already own a different phone - like me. I own an iOS, and I'm not planning to buy another phone)

For the "Shinies" ranklist, it is possible for anyone to be on there. In fact, it's possible for anyone to be on a ranklist, if they work hard. But some people may not own an Android, and they won't be able to be on there because they do not have an Android - thus, it will be unfair since everyone already have a chance to be on a ranklist, and if this is implemented, then not everyone will have a chance.
Either way, no support for the reasons stated by TheBeast.

Exactly what Toothless said, each category on the list can be obtained through hard work, sure not everybody has a Pokeradar but can get them through many different ways, Androids aren't cheap and not everyone even owns a Cell Phone as is, this rank would only be for those who have androids and would exclude others who don't have one....

It doesn't really need to be fair, it just adds another rank? And for those who aren't on PH much and want to be on the rank-list, but has a droid and the app this will allow them to get where they want to be. Also this encourages exercise more.

As of right now, I dont support. As Toothless and TheBeast said, not all people have access to the app, so it would only be the people with Androids on the ranklist (IF they even bought the app). Until all phones are add (If they will be), I dont support.

It does need to be fair, every user has the ability to go and reach for the ranks, but with this one a select handful with Androids can Particpate, having it not be fair to everyone just wouldn't be something nice and Riako wouldn't implement something that not everyone can participate in. Also like I said before, Not everyone gets the chance to walk around.

Also someone could cheat and just put their Phone on a running washing machine and, BOOM!!! Rank 1

Having the most steps with Pokewalker doesn't require any real hard work. Hear me out, shiny hunting involves time and patience and a Pokeradar. Most interactions requires activity on site. Most Plushies sent involves either buying nuggets or doing all the challenges regularly. Most Wonder Trades involves activities and setting up trades. Etc. Etc.

The Pokewalker? Besides owning an android all you have to do is shake your phone to get on the rank list. There's no skill, no need to be interactive or patient or anything except "shake shake shake, walk walk walk, shake shake walk walk."

I wouldn't give someone a medal for walking 100 steps in a day. Considering most people on site are probably in school, and walking between classes with their phones on, I wouldn't really give them a medal while others are clicking their fingers away hatching eggs and getting shinies and interacting on the actual site. Basically if you want to be on the rank list I think it should be for either going out of your way to do something, or doing something that takes patience and determination.

Walking with your phone, eh not really award worthy.

Maybe if people aren't active on PH they shouldn't be in the rank list. An example say basketball, I wouldn't give a trophy to someone just for showing up to practice and not participating in the actual game. If you want to be awarded for something, then participate and try for it, instead of looking for easy ways to accommodate you.

And exercise? Really? I'm sure most of us who have a 3DS got most of our steps from walking around school, shaking our device, or yes the washing machine trick. So I wouldn't use "this promotes exercise" as a good reason to implement this.
