(Wait! I have an idea that is sort of like that, but also a bit different.)

Using Spark, the Ampharos Gijinka sent dozens of red, blue, green and white sparkles into the air. A few of them landed on his Ampharosite, making it glow. He had not expected what happened next - though he had intended for his appeal to focus on the Spark, he instinctively stopped attacking. The area around him went dark, and a ring of light blue energy pulsed from beneath him. From the ring burst a flood of blue light, rising upward as quickly as a waterfall rushes down. The rest of the stage seemed dark in contrast. Suddenly, several green crescent shapes rose around him as well. The energy from the crescents and the blue ring morphed into a sphere, which shrank into a tiny orb... and exploded into a pulse of rainbow light, from which Ryu emerged.

The judges clapped loudly, this hadnt been done before!

(Mega evolution was just discovered, and most gijinkas have no idea it exists.)

(Yay! I kind of wanted Ryu to be able to Mega Evolve in a Contest, so I figured now is as good a time as any~)

Ryu bowed and walked backstage, a slight bounce in his step. Upon returning to his seat, he almost instantly shifted into his normal form.

Bane half walked, half floated out to the stage. Once everyone was paying attention, She focused on creating several Shadow balls. She made them float up rather high and made them look somewhat like balloons. She floated up a bit higher and using shadow claw, tore them all, releasing a torrent of purple sparkles. Her performance ended with a Shadow punch to the rest of them so they more so bursted than tore. She landed back on the stage, bowed and left. She recived moderate praise from the judges.

(if flare evolves to charizard gijinka he will be able to mega evolve :O) flare watched bane and the others waiting for his turn

The fourth contestant recived some praise for his routine focusing on a teeter dance. The spinda gijinka returned and the fifth contestant was told to come out.

(sorry i was learning spriting) Flare walked up onto the stage he used ember into the sky then he jumped up into the fire he knew he was doing really bad

Hahns was sitting at his desk in his office, reviewing his company's revenue. They were having a good year, and his sales put him at the top of the market. Many gijinkas looked down on the Price family for working in this industry, since he was still part pokemon. Hahns always laughed at this. The practically treated themselves as pokemon, so they shouldn't be annoyed by the Price's pokemon capturing devices.

Mabell was sitting in the audience of the Contest Hall, watching the cool competition in amazement. Her brother always forbade her from going to these 'useless demonstrations of how far the gijinkas had fallen', but Mabell Price was a very curious girl and she had always been interested. She was extremely impressed by the Ampharos gijinka and thought her preformance was the best so far. She was also impressed by the Banette gijinka. Mabell didn't really care for the other acts.

The rest of the contestants came and went, Than the Battle stage started. Those who made it where 2-5 7-12. The battle match-ups where

Mabell looked up at the screen. She noticed that the Ampharos gijinka would be going up against Charmeleon gijinka. The Charmeleon gijinka seemed like a good fighter, but Mabell thought the Ampharos would do a very stylish attack.

Bane waited through the first two matches before going out to battle a saybleye gijinka. "Oh fuun" She grumbled, before smiling. She gave a small bow to her opponent, a tradition that ghost types tended to do. Mainly so they would seem more honorable.
Sableye started the battle with a shadow sneak, Which Bane barely avoided by floating upwards. Bane than did a combo of hers, Filling the battle area with will o wisps and than launching several Shadow balls to float around them. Literal time bombs if you will. It was than rather simple to Use sucker punch against Sableye's Shadow claw, knocking them both apart. Luckily for her the Sableye had been knocked into one of the Will o wisps and shadow balls, 'detonating' the Shadow ball and getting subsequently burnt by the Will o Wisp.
Bane managed to only burn her overcoat. The Sableye gijinka fainted and was carried off for medical attention. Bane bowed to the crowd before returning to the Contest waiting area.
