Gijinkas
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Pokémon RP → GijinkasKikki shivered when the snow started to fall, and continued to run in search of Luka.

As he walked, the trees seemed more and more skeletal.
"You know, these trees appear rather eerie," Grima noted. "I'm guessing that they are going to start moving or something in an attempt to frighten the participants.
(They are, and you will see why later.)
(Actually, it kind of is "obvimouse." Diamond dust.)
"Have you never heard of the Psychic-type, or your own type, Ghost? You could quite easily control a tree with telekinesis, so another Pokémon could do the same. Besides, Sudowoodo isn't a tree. On the contrary, it's a rock. Other Pokémon do, however, bear a striking resemblance to trees; furthermore, at least one Pokémon can use its roots as a nervous system for an entire forest and control trees from afar, preventing those who disturb it from leaving the forest ever again, and making them die a slow, painful death from starvation, dehydration, and sometimes cold. This may cause them to become its pre-evolved form, if they happen to be children," Grima explained.
"Told you it was real," Grima said calmly.
Ryu continued to wander around the forest in search of Rythim. The bird Pokémon once again flew overhead, freezing several of the surrounding trees in an instant. Ryu noticed a coat of ice on his back, making it much more stiff. He tried to shatter it so he could walk more easily, but ended up cutting himself on the ice when he succeeded.
As Grima ran, the trees of the forest bent around him in a way that created a thick wall with holes large enough for a Caterpie to get through but far too small for any Gijinka in the competition. The moment he used Night Daze to blow them away, they regrew.
