From the other side of the stage, Machoke came out to face Tyrantrum. The Fighting-type began the battle with a Cross Chop attack to the kingly dinosaur's face.

Machoke used Bulk Up to increase his defense and attack, not bothering to dodge the attack because of how much recoil it caused for Tyrantrum. He took a large amount of damage, nearly knocking him over, but Tyrantrum was thrown backwards by his own move, giving Machoke an opportunity to use Poison Jab and damage him further. The dinosaur was also injected with poison.

The kingly dinosaur fell over and flailed its arms and legs for a minute before fainting from poison damage.

Silent to all but Bane to avoid hurting anyone's feelings, Grima replied, "The way he flailed his arms was hysterical!"

The luxray gijinka proudly walked to the stage, bouncing her huge mane.

The female Pyroar Gijinka walked on afterwards, bowing to her opponent in a slightly different way than that of the Ghost-types, and then lifted her head and used Noble Roar.
(A Gijinka's use of Noble Roar is probably not so pretty.)

Pyroar was slowed down for fear of approaching the menacing Luxray by the Scary Face. She scurried backwards in fear when Luxray roared, but got over it and used Noble Roar once more. (Can they both have Rivalry? Also, am I allowed to change her to a male because of Rivalry, or have Luxray be a female? I didn't realize Pyroar could have it until after I picked her gender. ^^')

Thanks to the Noble Roars, the attack didn't do much to Pyroar, who countered with Flare Blitz.

(Did they change so they have the same gender, or are attacks weakened instead of strengthened by Rivalry?)

Bane waited to see the battle match ups for the next battle.

it was Bane against Grima, Pyroar against Machoke, and /iftherewasanotherthatimforgeting/ will be going against the winner of Pyroar VS Machoke.
