"I suggest Iron Tail instead," Ryu told his companion before repeating the super-effective Steel move.
Spritzee, in the brief window of motion she had before being immobilized again, jumped over to Ryu and kissed him. The Ampharos was disgusted, but he then realized that she was actually doing it to steal his life force, using Draining Kiss to sap his energy. He whipped her away with his tail and sneezed several times.

Bane snickered as she watched the final battle of the contest

Ryu used Iron Tail for a third time on the cotton candy puffball, who retaliated by sending a pulse of green energy to bathe the area in lime-colored light, then absorbing a sphere of energy from the Ampharos.

Rythim used thundershock on the Swirlix so it wouldnt use the weird green attack again.

Swirlix pulsed with electricity; he was paralyzed. Suddenly, Spritzee started to glow, and the electricity - and, with it, the paralysis - faded.
"That was Spritzee's Healer Ability," Ryu noted.

"Right" Rythim nodded, using another Thundershock to attempt to hold it back longer while using confuse ray on Swirlix.

"Tee-hee~ You realize that paralysis doesn't affect my Healer Ability, right?~" Spritzee giggled.
Ryu decided that he should get rid of Spritzee instead, hating the (incredibly horrifying) Pokémon already. He sneezed and used Iron Tail, knocking out the immobilized Pokémon with a super-effective critical hit and winning the Contest.

Bane waited impaitently for the other battlers to show up, and for the battles to actually start, as she stood in the battler waiting room.

Having already registered, Grima did the same. He remained invisible, however, to avoid attracting attention because of the excitement caused by last night's match.

Bane floated upwards a bit to look over the other contestants. No one new, but she saw the frosslass that she had beaten in a contest the other day and bristled. if her hair had been a lot shorter than it would have stood on end.
(The sneaky one who had no respect for the typical Ghost type tradition.)

Grima realized that the battle would be starting soon, so he invisibly walked onto the stage to wait.
(Please announce that it's starting! There's only so much you can do while waiting. ^^')

Chloe tapped into the overheard announcments. "Tonights rumble will have same rules as yesterday, no killing. And let it begin!" She announced before turning her headset mic away so she could mutter to herself.

Bane had floated out with the rest of the participants. Once the battle had started she began flinging shadow balls at the Frosslass the second they came into existance.

Grima materialized in a flurry of pink sparkles, and launched the Night Daze attack he'd been charging while he waited for the battle to start. He aimed right for Bane, hoping to knock her out in as few hits as possible; the explosion covered the entire battlefield, and while nobody could see, the Zoroark used his illusions to cause every participant other than Bane to feel unbearable pain; some dropped down, fainted, right there. He made it look to the audience like the pain was caused by Night Daze, but in reality, it wasn't even there; the participants only thought it was. He left Bane alone, because he intended to have another match like before: no illusions - just the two of them, using sheer force to win. The participants who had not already fainted were immobilized by the nonexistent pain, allowing the audience to focus purely on him and Bane. Remembering the Banette's reaction to Froslass from before, he adjusted his illusion to make her feel several times as much pain.
(Grima is extremely cruel to his opponents, but Bane has earned his respect, so he is sparing her the false pain.)

Bane recived the typical damage from the attack. She launched several Will o wisps at Grima, before using shadow sneak to attack Grima from behind. True she didnt normally use this move, but Grima had already seen all of her other moves.

Grima jumped to avoid the Will-O-Wisps, but did take the Shadow Sneak attack.
The other contestants were still immobilized. The Zoroark wondered how the audience was reacting, but couldn't look to see without taking his attention off of the battle.

Bane used curse, without fainting this time but still loosing quite a bit of health. She than used Confuse ray to lower the chance of her taking more damage.

Grima dodged the Confuse Ray, allowing it to hit another Pokémon instead, then used a super-effective Night Daze in hopes of defeating Bane. The explosion that resulted knocked out several Pokémon, but Froslass, among others, remained in the fight.

(He is saving Froslass for last, so he can inflict as much pain on her as possible.)

Bane took the attack head on. The mere fact that Grima would continue to take damage til the rumble ended was swell, even if it ment she was really hanging on so she wouldnt faint right now. She launched a shadow ball surrounded by Will o Wisps, followed by an Icy wind at Grima.

Grima used another Night Daze in hopes of finishing the battle against Bane, but he was also heavily damaged by the Curse.

Bane fainted after the attack and was Teleported away by Abra to recive medical attention. The Abra had been watching a small camera that had been attatched to the edge of the stadium instead of the psychic types mind eye.
