Flint suddenly tackled her and slammed her into the ground. Scrabble was curled up on her side twitching feebly. Flint's face was set in a snarl as he drew it closer to her face. "How dare you?" His eyes glittered with outrage.

Brisk staggered to her feet and looked between the two. Her eyes set as they landed on Scrabble. She turned to Honey, her eyes flashing with anger.

Flint pinned her down with a paw, snarling in her face. "You hurt Scrabble!"

Scrabble made a faint whimpering noise and renewed rage flashed in Flint's eyes. "You- you- you desert rat!"

I said I'm stinking sorry! Just let me try something. *Draws strange symbols on Scrabble, whispers something and the symbols disappear along with the injuries and Scrabble starts groaning lightly* See? All better!

Scrabble does not get up and start panting. She lays unconscious. Flint bared his teeth. "You pathetic dung beetle-"

"Stop it, Flint. She's not worth it." Brisk laid a paw on his shoulder. He fell off, panting, his eyes round with pain. "We should go help Scrabble."

Flint tore through the ball and took Scrabble's scruff in his own muzzle. "I don't trust whatever she makes." He glared at Honey. "Come on, Brisk."

Brisk pressed her flank against his as they took Scrabble over to a secluded corner and all three littermates curled up together.
