Mr. Stone gritted his teeth and continued to struggle as the fire reduced him to a sort of "skeleton" with something glowing in the chest. What they didn't know is that it hadn't been for nothing, Melody had slipped away and was running away.

He roared, and spun around to throw him into a tree, before spraying cold magma to harden and trap him against the tree “subdued” he panted, looking at his own cracked and chafed scales

He did the same at yagyu, spraying cold magma to trap her from moving “did I do good, new general?”

Yagyu shot a ball of fire out of her mouth at Kayashi, “I’ll kill you!” She hissed while she struggled in the magma. It was too late for her to shift, and the magma was too hard to break out of. She struggled, trying to free herself.

He spat more magma, letting it cool and harden, untill she was trapped in a giant brick of cooled lava “no escape”

He moved along the edges that touched the ground, ah slowly broke it, so she was basically Han-solo in the stuff

Yagyu’s body was lifeless in the dried magma, there was no movement coming from it. Something clearly wasn’t right with the ‘body’.

They stopped. "Subject E is not dead, I hope?" one asked. They carefully lowered it down to inspect.

Upon the inspection, they could definitely figure out what happened. Inside of the magma was a completely perfect shedding of her skin. It was something that her snake cells allowed her to do. When she got encased in magma, she slipped out of her skin and burrowed underground to escape. Since her skin came off, her scent was completely gone now, and the burrow was collapsed. She can only shed her skin every so often, so she saves it as a last resort. She was gone, for now.

They cursed under their breath in an unknown languge, before summoning their dragons and running off.


Meanwhile, Melody had raced home and was sitting on her bed, exhaushted.

An audible thump could be heard by Melody, and it seemed to be coming from the basement of her house. A few seconds later, more noises could be heard.

Melody looked down at her feet. Okay, that was weird. Was there an animal in the basement? She picked up her penlight and went down into the dark basement. "Hello?" she called out, her eyes blinking as she attempted to adjust to the darkness.
