Chandi was surprised that the A had disappeared so she asked Loparu, "Are you interested in a drink at the moment to keep you hydrated?", then Chandi grabbed the menu and gave it to Loparu hoping that he had made a decision.

Loparu tilts his head in thought. "Hmmm... give me a surprise, please." He was feeling excited today, and a random drink could match that level of excitement. He sat down to think. A... was still a big mystery, and Loparu tried to put the puzzle pieces together. It was clear that he was a good fighter. He had a lot of names, and he'd come from a town like this but smaller. He'd been injured... and he'd looked uncomfortable in the back of the temple. Loparu didn't know what to think... he was so unique. He was sure there was a lot that A wasn't telling him, but he respected secrets.

Valto continues sorting and putting away the delivered goods, but nods and John to agnowledge him. "John! How are you doing?" He smiles. "What's wrong?" He asks, upon hearing the sigh.

Alex was sat under a tree resting trying to make his hunger go away, not that it would without some sort of food but he thought if he ignored it and relaxed it would.
he let out a long sigh and wondered if it would be better in his ram form for once

A small, dusty brown figure approaches Alex. Upon closer inspection, its clear to see that it's a tabby cat. It pads up next to Alex, and lies down in the shade, presumably enjoying it on a hot day. It gives a rumbly purr, and flick's the tip of it's tail.

"Well, I don't know if I can share a secret and everything be fair. People will probably be mad about it. What should I do?" he asked, wondering about what to do about his tail.

"Eh, It'll probably be fine," Valto answers. "I mean, how bad can it be? And you know secrets dont do well in the pit. It's bound to be discovered sooner or later, rather have it shared on your own terms than on someone elses." For a greedy merchant, Valto could be quite insightful and helpful.

he laughs and stretches "the shade's nice huh? the sun's ok but.. its nice to be cool" he mumbled quietly , not knowing if the cat was an actual cat or if it was a wereperson he smiled to himself and looked at the clouds floating by in the sky. he began to tear up thinking about how lonely he felt most of the time.

Chandi responded, "The special drink will be on its way", and Chandi left the table where Loparu was and Chandi headed to the bar area and begun to make a drink, "Think carefully, I know I can do some strawberry and watermelon drink to surprise the customer", so Chandi headed to the backroom and grabbed some strawberries and watermelon, she used the dagger to cut the watermelon in small piece and squeezed the juice carefully, soon she cut the strawberries and squeezed the strawberries as well, soon she sees the liquid reached the top and also placed the strawberry on the side of the glass, Chandi placed the strawberry watermelon drink carefully on the server tray and soon she made her way to the table where Loparu was sitting, "Here you are, the strawberry and watermelon drink for you, I will let you taste it and the total payment will be 5 silver coins", Chandi answered.

Loparu snaps out of his daydreaming, and takes the drink, nodding with thanks. He takes a sip, and his eyes widen. It tastes amazing! "No, I'm not paying 5 silvers, this is worth at least a gold," Loparu responds with a smile, handing Chandi a gold coin. He looks up to see who served him the drink. "Oh, its you! What was your name... Chanda or something?" He asks. It was the same person who'd looked after Alex for a bit, and who supported the meeting! "Anyway, thanks for looking after Alex!" He gives her a smile. "And thanks for the drink. Your boss should give you a raise," He laughs.

The cat next to Alex purrs again, and closes it's eyes. It soon falls asleep....

Valto looks at John's tail, realising what he means. "If its that you're a werecreature, its not that bad! Only downside is the recent taxings, but they might stop sooner or later."

soon his gentle sniffles turned into streaming eyes then full on shaky sobs, he clutched his stomach in hunger and took his cloak off throwing it onto the ground nearby.
he curled up in a ball and sobbed hoping nobody would notice him

The cat lifts an ear, hearing Alex's crying. It purrs, maybe to comfort him? Its clear the cat needs to go, though. It stretches, and walks into the street, turning around a corner out of sight.

the purring didn't do much for him, he was still a sobbing mess but he stood up ,putting his cloak back on leaving the hood down and headed for his tiny home

Chandi said to Loparu, "The name's Chandi, and yes I looked after Alex for a bit", and Chandi grabbed the gold coin and was surprised then she said to Loparu, "I do hope everything will be okay with you in the coming days in the Viper's Pit, just don't get nervous okay?", Chandi said to Loparu.

A figure runs up to Alex. It's A, his golden brown hair all ruffled up. "You ok bro?" He asks, in a soft compassionate voice. "I saw you earlier.. you didn't look great..." He cringes. "Sorry... I'm not good with people... If you want some space, that's good too, but I can talk if you want." He sounds very genuine and awkward at the same time. "Sorry." He says again.

Loparu smiles. "Ah, thanks! You stay safe too." He takes another sip of the drink. "Man, thats good!"

Valto smiles, happy to have helped John. He gives him a thumbs up, and a friendly grin, then grabs a dirty cub and begins to wash it.

A thinks for a bit. "I won't pretend to know what youre going through... but I'm here for you, and I'm sure Loparu and Suren are there for you as well." A's belly gives a rumble. He laughs a bit. "Hey, I earned some money today. I'll get you something to eat okay?" He says thoughtfully.

Chandi continued her shift at the tavern, she was busy cleaning some cups that the customers used today, "I got to think which drinks that the customers at the tavern can enjoy, I know strawberry and watermelon drink is a good start, but I still need to think of more drinks so that the customer will be pleased".
