Mel saw Amane and Tazuli from where her tent was when they approached from a distance. She waved and pulled out a book on demons and started to read.

“Who the hell is this now?”Tazuli said,she was tired from dealing with so many demons today,it wasn’t her worst day but it’s still bad especially after being stunned

Amane was silent the entire time,he didn’t know what to say

Mel was reading the book to see if there were any 'peaceful' demons. She didn't think there had been before but she looked anyway. The two demons from earlier that had been peaceful surprised her greatly since they were like no other demon she had met.

It took awhile before Tazuli realise it was Mel“Oh,it’s you Mel,I don’t think we ever talked before”Tazuli said,she did met Mel before but they never really talked to each other

“Now you realise it?”Amane said,he was still a bit annoyed at the fact Tazuli was willing to kill Yellow and Ally when they didn’t even do anything wrong

Mel nodded. "I saw what happened earlier with the peaceful demons by the way. I'm trying to figure out of something that that has happened before but I don't think it has." She said with a shrug. "Of course, there is a first for everything."

“That’s what I been telling her the entire time!she just won’t listen!”Amane said,he was kinda relieved that someone actually knows about the peaceful demons and can try to convince Tazuli they are actually peaceful

“There’s still the chance that they will attack,besides the first rule of being a demon slayer is to kill any demon you see,as quick as possible”Tazuli said

The one, Yellow I think she was called, didn't seem to remember anything. For goodness sake, she didn't even know that she was a demon in the first place. How is she going to hurt anyone if she didn't know that in the first place?" Mel said quietly.

“Me and Amane are the only survivors of a demon attack,they killed our entire family,some demon slayers manage to kill them before they turned us into one too,besides what if she’s faking not knowing she’s a demon,she probably know we are demon slayers as soon as she saw us!”Tazuli said,she didn’t believe the fact Yellow and Ally won’t actually attack someone

“And how the hell can she know about that fact?”Amane said “Tazuli,even if I’m the younger one you seem more immature than me,we’re not kids anymore,we shouldn’t have anymore fights or arguments over things that are common sense”Amane said

Suddenly near them, the shadows stirred unnaturally before stopping. This action repeated for a few times before finally stopping. Withou warning, the shadow zoomed forward toward Amane.

Amane noticed the shadow zooming towards him,he quickly drew his sword and set it on fire before created a flame burst in the shadow.(his flame burst is more like a mini-explosion)

“What the hell-”Tazuli said before drawing her sword out and pointed it the ground where the shadow was “this doesn’t seem normal...is it another demon?”

"Another thing, she didn't seem to know what demon slayers were. Didn't she ask you about animistic demons? Maybe she lost her memory and that's why she not aggressive." She said to Tazuli basically ignoring the shadow.

“Less talking,more fighting!the shadow doesn’t seem to be normal,it might be a demon”Tazuli said before looking back at the ground

“It’s probably a demon trying to attack us”Amane said before creating another flame burst at the ground “but it haven’t attack us yet”

Faraway from them, in another part of the region was a small village. Fire spread from building to building, killing th trapped villagers in them. Rubble covered the street as pair of dark grey boots stepped on them. Scanning at the destruction and chaos around them, he smirked. They were foolish enough to take him as he was supposedly "wounded". Their price to pay Yuuki thought, licking the blood around his mouth. Not even sparing a glance behind he left the village in rubble and ruins

The shadows swirled again before pooling together and a person shape could be seen before clearing up. Blonde hair and black clothes, he yawned, before muttering: "how annoying, I was sleeping..." Not a second later, receiving a whack on his head delivered by yours truly.

“How did you not get any damage from my flame burst??”Amane said,still confuse as to how he didn’t even get a single burn from his flame burst especially when it’s directly hitting him
