(Imma interduce two characters, but I only have the appearance for one of them.)

Miranda and Lilac were walking casually. Lilac was holding her Alolan Vulpix in her arms while Miranda's Galarian rapidash walked beside them. "Oi, Nicky!"

Nicky looked behind her and smiled. "Well well well, look what the Nickit brought home. Miranda and Lilac, been a while."

Lilac nodded and Miranda nodded at Maggie adn Mark. "Two on one? Doesn't sound very fair."

"Then join me then, we'd be a great team." Nicky winked.

"No issue there." Miranda had a cheeky grin on her face.

“A double battle? That sounds fun!” Mark grinned and grabbed a pokeball off his belt. He looked at Maggie and held his hand out. “I’m sure we’ll make a great team!” He smiled as Maggie shook his hand.

Maggie looked at Nicky and Miranda and smiled. “Pleasure to battle with you!”

"Ditto." Nicky smiled, Miranda nodded.

The four headed down to the battle arena where Nicky set up a dynamamx double battle. Upon entering, Maggie and Mark were given a dynamax band to borrow for the battle and to return once it was over (pretty much a rental).

"Everyone ready?" Nicky asked as she and the others had taken their spots.

Maggie looked at the band with curiosity. Were these the things that allowed her Pokémon to grow larger? She put it on and walked to the arena, putting her hand on Lucario’s pokeball. She went for Empoleon’s ball first instinctively, but she reminded herself that he would be her last resort. He wouldn’t listen to her, so why should she try?

Mark immediately slapped on the band and ran next to Maddie. “These are the dynamax bands!”

"Good eye. These bands allow you to dynamax a pokemon of your choice once per battle for three turns, unless you switch out or it faints. Their moves change as well, but I'm not going to spoil too much for you." Nicky winked at them. "Ready?"

Mark was jumping up and down, excited for the match. He liked meeting new people that were willing to battle.
