Nightflower pushed Lynx and Scorch into the Hive tunnel, shoving them along

Kudzu writhed beneath Deadlytail, trying to avoid her tail. He managed to scratch her side with a back talon.

Spiri stared at the fight, she didn't want to reveal her secret, but she might have no choice if she wanted to save the LeafWing. She hesitated.

Kudzu screamed and shoved all his claws upwards using all his strength, stabbing Deadlytail as hard as he could.

Seeing she had no choice, with a slight wince, Spiri opened her mouth, charged up energy, and unleashed a strong line of flame straight towards the attacker's tail.

Spiri dived at Deadlytail, flames spewing from her mouth. She delivered a fiery bite to her tail.

Kudzu struggled free of Deadlytail and dove into the tunnel, out of sight.

Spiri followed him.

Scorch, Nightflower, and Lynx were already waiting anxiously on the other side.

Permafrost flew out of his hiding place once he saw that Deadlytail was leaving. He flew as fast as he could through the tunnel not wanting to possibly get hit by Deadlytail in case she came back.

Abyss flew after Permafrost at top speed. She wanted to be as far away from Deadlytail as possible.

Cobra flew towards the tunnel. She wanted to make sure that Permafrost and Abyss were alright. When she got through the tunnel her friends were waiting for her, unharmed.

Permafrost was thoroughly frightened by Deadlytail. "Who was that?" he asked slightly out of breath.

Cobra flew over to where Abyss had landed and landed next to Abyss. She wrapped a wing around Abyss. "I hope that dragon doesn't follow us..." she muttered under her breath.

Abyss was starting to question if she should have come and helped with this whole 'Clearsight' thing. She decides that as long as that dragon doesn't come to the Hives she would be fine.

Permafrost wrapped his tail around his talons. "As long as she doesn't come here I'm fine." he muttered.

"That's a fitting name." Abyss said. "She's not going to follow us, right?"

"Come on. Let's not waste time. We need to find out more about WHY Clearsight is here as well as if she actually is." Cobra said stretching her wings.

Kudzu stepped up and winced at the pain in his tail-tip. He looked down at the spreading poison. "We have to find Fern. She'll be in the jungle, this way!" He took off trying to hide his injury. He couldn't go back now and continue to delay. He could do this after they found Clearsight.

Scorch lifted off and followed her beside Lynx and Nightflower.

Spiri noticed a black gash spreading from Kudzu's tail, but decided not to mention it.

Starcrossed watched Fern go: "NICE TALKING TO YOU" she yells. "I wonder where Frostbite is. She promised me in her Dreamvisit last night that she was going to be he soon, and with some new dragons."
"She sees a bunch of new dragons come out a of a tunnel. "HELLO, WHO ARE YOU?" she yells. Seeing that they match Frostbite's description she flies towards them, blocking their way to the jungle. "Hello? Have you met a dragon named Frostbite?"

Fern flew up just then "Kudzu!" She flew into him, wrapping her wings around him and knocking him out of the sky.
"Ack! Fern?" Kudzu said, a little shocked.

Scorch shook her head. "I thought she was following us, but I don't know." She looked back for Frostbite and gasped. There was a LeafWing attacking Kudzu! She hissed, abandoning Starcrossed and dove at him.

"Wait! Where are you going?" Nightflower called down to her SandWing friend.

"Hi again Fern, thanks for NOT helping with the HiveWings, I was forced to kill them." Starcrossed looked at the dragon that was with Fern. "WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?!" "THERE'S BLACK VENOM EVERYWHERE, WERE YOU BITTEN BY A DRAGONBITE VIPER????"

At the word 'venom' Scorch pulled Fern off Kudzu and looked at his injury. "Omigosh! Did Deadlytail get you?"
Fern scrambled to her feet and peered at the wound.

"No no. I'm fine, it's fine." Kudzu hid his tail in his wings.

"It was a SandWing tail! It will be okay for a few days at least. We can find an antidote before then. Until then I need to find Clearsight." He turned to Fern and signaled for his friends that were still flying to come down.

Nightflower, Lynx, and Spiri all landed beside Kudzu.

"This is a big deal. That will kill you!" Scorch insisted, grabbing his tail.
