(Oh- pfft. I must've forgotten I posted on page 52- I thought I missed a couple pages. Oops! Still... eech.
As for quitting... maybe it could count as them trying to escape and getting punished, so we don't have to pile through a suicide-enduced trial)

Makoto had been sitting at the bench, his head back in his hands... He was... unsure of what to do. And he kept thinking he was possibly dragging the others down into despair, or being dramatic, in a way. The coot just nudged his hand again, before hopping down and making it's way to the library.
With a shake, Makoto got up. He had to keep hope! So he began to follow Carlita, shaking his head again.

(makoto angst well, not much happened after the trial, other than the execution ofc, though if I remember right you were there. It's mostly been conversation, but Makoto's been blanking frequently, Nagito went insane again, Usami came in, and now they're preparing the party)

Makoto turned over to see Nagito- and felt just slightly embarassed that he was caught following a bird. "Hello, Nagito..." he mumbled quietly, shaking his head yet again. He's doing that a lot.
