Samaya groans as she walks through Opelucid City(or town?) with her Swoobat flying beside her.
“You can’t do much but... Druddigon could except he also has the Dragon weakness... Maybe if Frillish’s Ice Beam was mastered...” she mumbled, her Swoobat cooing in response.

Felix entered Opelucid from the gate, his Pokémon all in their Pokéballs due to being tired for battling. He entered the Pokémon Center and gave his Pokémon to Nurse Joy to be healed.

“Damn it.” Marisa said, standing in front of Draydsn’s gym. “Damn gyms closed.” She said, Bisharp sighing angrily. “Great. And the reason is- what? Drayden’s... missing?” Marisa said, rather shocked. “That’s really off. Something’s up.” She muttered, kicking a rock.


“Aha! I made it to the bridge!” Amaya cheered, Ika rolling her eyes. “Leaf me alone.” Amaya scoffed at the Serperior, before the pair walked/slithered onto the bridge.

Samaya and her Swoobat approached the gym, seeing Marisa there.
“I wish I hadn’t been doing my own thing, because she looks familiar and I’d probably remember her name.” she muttered to her partner before walking up to the gym.
“Is it closed?” she asked.

Jean grumbled more as the Lucas fainted again. "Come on, Marie-Paul... time to go back to the pokemon center..." he mumbled. She let out a quick "Pharos!" They made their way to the Opelucid pokemon center. "He'll be a braviary soon... And then We'll be training Clary and Voltiare."

"It seems to be closed." Marisa replied, not turning around as she was inspecting the sign. "Apparently Drayden is gone. It seems fishier than a Magikarp. I wonder if he was kidnapped." She concluded.

"Opelucid! Finally!" Amaya yawned. "Time to beat the crap out of the gym, eh, Thea?" Amaya said, turning to the Beartic by her side.

Jean glanced over upon entering the city, seeing Marisa and Samaya by the gym, and walked over. "What's going on?" He saw that it was closed, and put his finger underneath his chin. "So it's closed-"

[just a timeskip and we’re in opelucid discovering that drayden isn’t at the gym]
Samaya shook her head at this. “It’s definitely strange...” she commented after hearing Jean, her Swoobat crying out after the girl.

Felix sighed and noticed a forming group around the Gym and decided to investigate.
“Remind me of your names, please.” he blatantly requested after reading the sign.

(you got my palpad, right? so we timeskipped a lot and most people are in opelucid, i assume [though only me, grande and jin have posted] and they found out the gym is closed because drayden is missing)

"I believe Drayden's been kidnapped. Look up - that window is covered in a bag. Which means repairs. Put the two together, and you have someone-" Marisa started.

Amaya cut her off. "- a break and enter. And then a kidnapping." She finished, Thea and Ika by her side. "My sister says Roxie is missing, too."

"I'm guessing we'll have to go and find him?" Angelica asked, her arms crossed. Her Sawsbuck, Winter, let out an annoyed huff, shook his head slightly, and scrapped a hoof off the ground. Silver - now a Cinccino - was on the Sawsbuck's back.

"Well, duh." Amaya snorted. She reached for her Pokegear, calling her sister.

"Hey! So.. Roxie's gone?" she asked.

"Itzel says that Cheren's gone, too. And Leona."

"... Drayden's gone. I'm in Opelucid."

She hung up. "Okay, so apparently like half the current leaders and ex leaders are missing. This is really suspicious." Amaya said.

Jean shrugged. "Hmm, Lee is right. Why would somebody kidnap a gym leader?" He tapped his foot on the ground. "It's confusing, that's for sure... And as for finding him, th question is how?"

"Who's missing?!" Sydney shouted, sprinting over to join the group again. "What happened?" She blinked. She'd been busy training her team outside of the town, though she'd grown tired of it quickly and gave up to find the others.

On each shoulder, Mochi - still a Foongus, she didn't like her second evolution-, and Minty - once again, still a Minccino, unwilling to evolve- both squeaked to each other in an odd conversation.

"The gym leaders. At least 5, to what we know." Amaya said. "We'll just have to break into the crime scene."

Sydney blinked. ".. No?" She offered. "If they don't want to evolve, I won't make them. And I do have two other pokemon on my team, y'know. They're evolved. Yeesh.." She muttered, shaking her head before looking over at Lee with a shrug. "Probably. Alola' she pretty peaceful, but there was Skull.."

Melody had quietly been listening in to the group's conversation. Here I thought my younger brother was the only idiot in Unova. Guess I'll need to follow just in case. Legends forbid I let anyone die while I can help them. She thought to herself while reaching up and petting her Emogla, Emmy.
