"Okay, hold that up there-- Yeah, just like that!" Luma beamed,
stringing fairy lights around her side of the room. Riolu stood on
top of her dresser, holding some in place. "You can let go
now."
It turned out they got along surpringly well. They're both stubborn
and loud.
Luma managed to pry herself away to dart down to the student store,
grabbing one of those half-cork-board-half-white-board things
before sprinting back up to the room. With Riolu's help, she stuck
it to her wall and stepped back, grinning. It was starting to feel
like home.
"Ugh, I still need to get another job... i'm thinking about
'Blazikan's Oven Roasted Pizza' down the street, what do you
think?" Delilah said, taking her laptop and pulling out the
application.
Delilah chuckled. "I guess that's why people like it!" She
chuckled, sending in her application. "Speaking of which, wanna get
some dinner there? I mean, the food is fine here, but its the first
day and we should have some fun!" Delilah said. "Plus I need to
pick up that printer anyways." She sighed.
"Of course. I'm nervous about the food anyway, so let's play it
safe," Mira stood up. "...Also, I feel like you'll need help
lifting that thing. Printers aren't too light."
Mira laughed. "Could I convince you to wear a bowtie?" She asked
her Dratini, which now resided on her shoulder. Dratini blinked and
very slowly nodded. "Sweet."
Luma, clutching her Riolu, passed by Mira, Delilah and Madison. She
paused and turned to face them. "Hi." She said cheerfully, looking
forward to at least greeting people.
