Kat sat down, and watched as Kanti ran after the rabbit. He heard a
startled squeal as the rabbit noticed Kanti. It then cornered
itself with a rock pile.
Kanti's tail swooshed and she bared her teeth, ready to make the
killing bite, when the realization dawned on her. All of the
prey was controlled by humans now.
Her yellow eyes widened. There's a place around here where they
control that, then! She thought. Oh, not good, not
good...
"Live another day," Kanti growled to the rabbit before
turning and running back to Kat.
"There are humans around. There must be. Prey has been
controlled by them for years now, and they never get too far if
they escape," She explained quickly, looking around. "We
have to go."
Kat nodded, and sniffed the air once more. "I know an abandoned
part of this forest...I use to live over there when I was
well..." he trailed off, and shook his head. He then flicked
his tail to signal to follow him. "Follow me..."
Kat nodded, and sighed "Yeah and when I was trying to hide from
the humans who killed the people I liked" he said lowly.
''It's across a river, and then it goes past the controlled part
of the forest...it is a decent size of the forest beyond, but no
one goes there." he sighed and continued onward.
Lucia appeared from a near by bush, fur slightly ruffled. She shook
a few leaves out of her fur as she caught up. "What
happened?" She called in surprise.
