Shion yelped slightly when Lillian just suddenly appeared before
him. "W-What do you want?" he asked, acting hostile towards her.
Ryan followed Lillian and sat next to her, looking at Shion. "If
you want me to do your homework for today, that's a no," he hissed.
Liam, feeling he did pretty well on that test, bolted out of the
classroom as soon as the bell rang. He grabbed his lunch from his
locker and went to the lunch room. This was always the hardest part
of the first day for him--finding a good lunch table to sit at. He
eventually chose the end of a table, vacant of people. He opened
his lunch and started to eat, every now and then glancing down to
play on his game.
"Like me?" Shion chuckled before glaring at her. "That's the worst
decision anyone could ever make. I doubt it," he replied, crossing
his legs. "Don't be like that, Shion! I'm sure anyone could like
you," Ryan said to him. "Only you think that because you know you
have a whole ton of girls that fall head over heels for you," Shion
responded to him, acting the same as usual.
Anyone that knew Shion or at least talked to him before knew that
he was always angry and would talk back to anyone. That's to be
expected of him to even act the same to populars.
Viola finished her lunch quickly and walked out of the cafeteria.
She walked around until she find a vacant music room. She entered
and looked around thr various musical instruments until she saw a
piano. She smiled happily as she walked over to the piano and
opened it. She pressed on a few tuts to check the pitch. After
feeling comfortable with it, she sat down and started playing a
classical piece, enjoying herself. 'This is relaxing, just me and
piano. Nothing else.' Viola said still smiling as she continued
playing.
"I know, I was surprised too! But, I think its fate. You gotta get
yourself a date by the Holiday Prom, or else you may be lonely for
the rest of your life!" Lillian warned, taking a bite out of an
apple.
Liam finally looked up as he got a game over. Oh, what am I
doing? I better socialize... He told himself, sighing and
taking one last bite of his sandwich before going over to
Lillian's, Shion's, and Ryan's table. "Hey!" He greeted them.
Lilith pulled her lunch that she had packed out of her bag and ate
it slowly.I'll skip next class.Hopefully, the class after that
won't have the stupid pop in it.She thinks to herself as she
takes a bite of her brownie. She opens her book and picks up where
she left off.
"I think being alone for the rest my life would be better for me,"
Shion laughed, softening his angry and tough exterior to act like
his usual self when near friends. "I'm sure guys already have their
eyes on you," Shion commented, "maybe even some girls."
"For all I know, i'm choosing a certain guy for the prom," Ryan
announced but quietly enough so no one else knew except for them.
When he saw Liam, he waved back and gestured for him to sit down
with them.
The cafeteria bursted out in laughter once they heard Shadow. Shion
didn't laugh though, rather he stayed quiet and flicked Lillian's
forehead.
Liam grinned and sat down with the group. He looked over to Shadow,
somewhat embarrassed for her, even more so when he heard the
laughter. Yikes. He thought. "Who are you thinking?" He said
aloud to Ryan, curious. He hadn't even begun to think about
prom.
Shadow's face turned bright red and she blocked the apple core with
her book. Tears were were welling up in her eyes "I-I-" she tried
to speak but couldn't
"Ugh, suit yourself; and OW!" Lillian said. "And I'm sure some do.
But, I want to find somebody right." Lillian sighed. "What do you
think?" She asked Shion.
Oliver grabbed his things, heading to the cafeteria. He got
some food, and sat at a table. He paid no attention if anyone was
there, and he wouldn't have cared if someone was. He hummed softly,
shifting and picking up his sandwich. He took a small bite, closing
his eyes. He swallowed, setting the sandwich down.
Maria gathered her things, putting them in her bag. She slung it
over her shoulder, and headed out of the classroom. She travelled
without purpose, stopping to tie her hair up in a loose ponytail.
She sighed, and continued her trek.
Joy smirked. She gathered her stuff, and headed to the lunchroom
boredly. She sat down after grabbing lunch, sitting down at an
empty table. She grabbed her peach, taking a bite out of her peach.
She smiled. Peaches were good.
"Hold on, you heard that?" Ryan looked at him with widened eyes.
"That'll remain a secret," Ryan said and looked at Shadow with
friendly pity. "I feel bad for that girl," he mumbled.
"Lillian, you rude popular," Shion groaned and shook his head in
disappointment. "Anyway, hello there," he waved to Liam, happy
another geek was with him. "For you, I think a jock would be nice,"
Shion said to Lillian, "because another type person would just feel
pressured from your royal aura."
Ryan glanced at others, looking at Oliver before turning back to
Shion. That boy looks right for Shion, he thought.
Lilith reached into her lunch only to feel a paper. She pulled it
out and quickly read it before frowning."Have a good year my
butt.Life was so easy for the ever popular Lithar."She snarls out
while crumpling the note and throwing it back into her bag.
"How about a girl then? The airhead ones are the only ones that are
annoying," Shion suggested. After suggesting, he walked over to
Shadow to pick up the apple core and threw it in the trash. He went
over to whisper into Shadow's ear. "Hey, go to the library to get
away from populars," he said to her before walking back.
