Papi felt uneasy crawling up out of the hole with the giant
skeleton right there, but he did it anyways. Papi shook his head in
puzzlement when the butterfly transfomed back into a 'regular'
butterfly. "Well since it's a new species...it needs a name. Do you
have any ideas?" Papi looked over at the skeleton alien.
"Most people do."Night responds with a smirk."I'm not most
people."Nyx mused while resting against a tree."Oh?How
so?"She just smirks at Night."I can't afford to care anymore."
"Oh...whatever! Well bye!" Papi sighed as he watched the giant
alien fly off. "Kay this...Kay...Kay...?" 'Are you
okay?' Mira's concerned voice rang through Papi's head.
"Mira...How about...Ornithoptera miranna?" Papi murmured as
he held up the new jar the butterfly had been put in. "Maybe as I
find new species...I should name them after us, the crew?" Papi
added, thinking deeply on this thought.
Mira, dazed by all that's happened, had gone back to her room in
the ship. She had written a bit in her journal--which was to be
submitted to NASA eventually--about what they had seen and what
they might see soon. Heya wheeled up to her. "Anything?" Mira
asked. A few bleeps was her answer. She sighed and shrugged,
turning off her holographic journal. "Maybe soon," She smiles.
Papi sighed as he placed the jar down in his wagon. "I wanna do
some more exploring, but I need to log in this new species." Papi
picked up his things and placed them in his wagon. "Well...see you
later Lithar." Papi mumbled before heading off towards the ship.
As Papi was walking, he heard something coming toward him, but it
was hidden by the trees. Clutching his Ornithoptera miranna
to his chest, Papi called out, "Who's there!?" Papi winced when his
voice cracked with fear.
"Nope not yet.Waiting on Nyx to come back from her
exploration."Lithar hummed while Nyx snuck up behind him."What
about me?"She asks causing Lithar to jump."Geeze Nyx.Trying to give
me a heart attack."
Nyx shrugs."The wildlife seems to be pretty much the same...or at
least plant wise it does.Eve spotted some poison ivy.The only thing
I noticed that was different was that everything seems to grow at a
slightly faster rate then it did on Earth."
Papi gulped as the rustling got closer. "Who's there!?" He called
out again, but suddenly all went quiet. "H-Hello?" Papi looked
around, but screamed bloody murder when he felt something tug at
his sock. "Ahhhh!" A little voice screamed along with him. Looking
down, Papi was being stared at by a little humanoid alien
astronaut.
