Angel had a firm grip and had taken more than half of the injury. She heard Sebastian's comment, so she didn't share the wound. She just waited for the victim of her hatred.

Nat stopped her trampling, only to reach down and grab his shoulder in her jaws to drag him over to Angel as fast as she could.

Angel grabbed Alex's leg and her body glowed as she transferred the damage to him.

Elvira staggered over, her signal almost off due to her trying to focus on standing.

Alex screamed in anguish, jackknifing on the ground and shaking. Angry and weak, Alex lashed out with his mind, searching for anything or anyone he could latch onto. He found, to his surprise, he found Elvira's mind open. His eyes locked onto her and he forced his way in, shoving her out of the drivers side of her mind and taking control. In a flash, he sifted through her memories, gathering what he would need to survive until he could silence her and from the body and kill each of them slowly. He smiled in Elvira's body, realizing he would get to keep Roxy and torment her and Elvira. "Hello, pretty little pet. Aren't I glad you didn't die like swiss cheese? How should we play this, hmm? Should I let them have their victory?" Alex cooed to his prisoner.

Roxy didn't trust the sudden lack of response to Alex's body. Something was wrong. Something was off. Shifting nervously, she held onto Danny. "We have to end him. Ensure no one else gets hurt," she called out.

Sebastian shoved the body recently vacated by Alex, giving the girls better access to him before latching onto his arm and pumping venom into him.

"G-get out! What the hell?! What did you do to me?! Damn it!" Elvira strained mentally trying to make her body move the way she wanted, but to no avail.

Angel stood up and took a couple steps back, her job done. She spotted Elvira up and moving about, so she went over to check on her. "Hey El, how's your arm?"

Nat moved around over to Danny to see how he was after having been stabbed pretty badly, Angel had fixed him, but she wanted to make sure. She gently nudged him with her head as she laid down right beside him.

"You mean you don't want to play? But I was going to have my death push you over the edge! Or maybe an 'accidental' death you caused. I know just who to start with. That little brat kid. He gets too close to us while we're working and short circuts his brain," Alex chuckled darkly in her head. "Oh! I'm good. See? Just a scratch now. Thank you, Angel," Alex told the woman, giving her a smile before makijg his way over to Roxy.

Danny smiled, reaching up to hug Nat. "Hey. I'm fine. Tis just a flesh wound," he chuckled, kissing the top of her head.

"Ha ha," Sebastian said, coming over to join the hug. "Monty python. I know that one. How appropriate. As that was not just a flesh wound, kid. Scared the hell out of me. Glad you're safe."

Roxy pulled Elvira into a hug, pressing her face to her neck. "I was so worried...you sure you're okay?" She asked, pulling back to check her over.

"We'll take care of this," Teddy said, nudging Alex's body with his boot. "Bury it and forget about it." Billy picked it up with his magic, nodding. "Oh yeah. An unwanted chapter in human history."

"You leave him alone!! Roxy! No! I'm not okay! Please hear me! Come on!!" Elvira was practically screaming.

Nat shifted into her human shape to hug him properly. "It scared me too... I'm glad we had Angel with us..." She felt a bit guilty for him getting stabbed. She was supposed to take the brunt of Alex's attacks and keep his focus. She failed, and it got Danny hurt.

Angel nodded and headed over to watch the two kings bury the body. Something didn't feel quite finished.

Alex smiled, nodding as he turned his head to capture a kiss from Roxy. It felt off though, and Roxy questioned the lack of a zap to the bolt in her tongue. "Just fine, Roxy. No what if's today. We are all good, see?" He said, wrapping his arms around her.

Roxy was quiet, staring up at her fiance, feeling something was wrong. It was something about her eyes and speech pattern, the kiss and the way the woman was acting. "Okay..." Things were not okay and she planned to ask her dad about it.

Danny nodded. "I should have stayed back. I figured he wasn't attacking Sebastian, he must not have been able to reach him. My mistake.thank you for getting him, Nat," the young man told her.

Something felt...familiar about the setting for Billy. Like an itch he couldn't scratch, he couldn't place it as he and Teddy dug a hole. Looking over at their family, his kids, every last one of them, Billy studied them. Something was wrong. But what? "T...do you feel that?"

Teddy stopped, trying to reach out with his senses. Frowning, he shook his head. "No. What does it feel like?" "...Moridun," he whispered. Teddy did a double take. "Um...what? But you killed him." "I know. It feels like what if felt like then. But...different."

"No it's not fine! Let me go you as*hole! Don't you dare lay a hand on her! You sick twisted son of a whore!" Elvira planned to keep up her insults until she couldn't think of any more. If anything, it'd distract him and he'd make a mistake.

"I would have trampled him completely, but Sebastian reminded me that Angel needed him still partially alive... You would have done the same for me Danny..." Nat hugged him a little tighter.

Angel watched the two bury the body and listened to the conversation. "I feel something off as well... Like something, isn't quite done..." She sighed as she looked over at the group. "You know what I mean?"

[I]"Keep it up, sweetheart. See if I can't gag you here in our heads. I am going to touch them all. I am going to keep them all! Just watch me. Drive that pretty blonde to insanity!"[I] Alex replied. Patting Roxy's hand, he gave her a smile before going over to see Danny, Nat and Sebastian.

"You okay?" Danny asked, looking up at Elvira. Of course Alex had her nodding and leaning in to hug him.

Roxy walked over to Angel and her dads, looking at Elvira before catching the tail end of the conversation. "He gave in too soon. It isn't right. And El is acting...strange. Something is off. Dad? Can you check her? Please? See if something happened?" Roxy nearly begged Billy. She didn't want to voice the idea that Elvira, her Elvira, could be gone.

"Of course I can check," Billy said, finishing his task with Teddy. "Just...gotta get the right spell," he added, focusing on what he wanted to do before looking over at Elvira. "Shall we head over?"

Elvira fell quiet at that and let him have a moment of silence, but soon returned with just screaming obscenities at him. Insulting not only him, but his entire family.

Nat could almost sense something not right, but didn't really know what to do or say about it, or who she should tell.

Angel put a hand on Roxy's shoulder. "She'll be okay. She's a fighter." She glanced up at Roxy's dads for a moment sending up a prayer that he could find the right spell and that they can save her before anything bad were to happen.

Alex winced, trying to find a way to silence her. Looking up at the others as they approached, he put on a smile. "Shall we go home?" He asked, ready to get them all separated. Better to deal with when they were like that.

Roxanne smiled, squeezing Angel's hand. "That she is." Reaching out, she wrapped an arm around Elvira's waist. "Just a moment." If anything happened, she could hold on while withstanding any damage.

Billy's eyes began to glow blue and he reached out, trying to reach just Elvira. "El? El, you there? I need you to tell me if everything is okay. Sometimes this gets a bit harder to control..."

Elvira gasped, or rather she thought she did, when Billy reached out. She could hear him! "Billy! Help me! K-kill me, kill me! My body! It's Alex! Please kill me! Now! Just do it!" She was screaming as loud as she possibly could. She knew by now that Alex could see what was going on, so she didn't have to try to be discreet. Hopefully he wouldn't be able to figure out her powers to hurt anyone.

Nat watched the rest of the group come closer and gather around Elvira. So they felt it too and they were doing something about it. She tried to make herself ready for anything that might happen.

Angel stood behind Elvira in case she needed to reach out to heal someone.

Billy cursed, glad Roxy had grabbed her. "Not a chance, El. You are ours and we intend to keep you. This guy, not so much," Billy snarled, signaling Roxy to hold her closer. "Hiding in one of our own is not gonna save you, Alex. It's like poking a bear. And now you have no where to go. T, hold me. You know what to ask when I get back. Roxy, hold Elvira. Questions only she would know when I get us back."

Teddy moved in, wrapping his arms around his mage and holding him close. Roxy did the same with a struggling, snarling puppeted Elvira. Reaching forward. billy took a deep breath before using the techniques he had learned from his teacher to yank both Elvira and Alex out of her body. He sent them into the astral plan, seeking to trap Alex's mind in a mental trap so that no one would stumble across him again.

Danny hesitated, unsure of what he could do to help. Sebastian stayed close to Angel so she could use his energy should she need it.

Elvira tumbled around being completely disoriented and she felt a little sick to be honest.

Angel kept herself nearby and ready, but she also prayed, not quite making a bargain, but she was damn close to it.

Nat stayed beside Danny and held out her hand to hold his. She was worried, and hoped that she could find solace in the small embrace, and that he could find some too.

Alex attacked them both, trying to steal one of their bodies to force them to either share or kill off one of them. But Billy hit him with a burst of power, shoving Alex back as he returned Elvira to her body.

Roxy felt Elvira return to her body and waited anxiously for her to open her eyes. She had to be okay. Because whatever had happened, should not have happened.

Billy returned to his own body moments later, answering an anxious Teddy's questions before they celebrated with a kiss.

"Is...is he gone?" Danny asked, seemingly attached at the hip to Nat. "What exactly happened? El is okay now, right?" He asked, nervous even though he hung onto Nat's comfort and tried to give her comfort as well.

Elvira's eyes remained screwed shut, her entire body tensed up. She didn't want to open her eyes lest she see the Pearly Gates, or the Gates of Hell. Hearing the questions from Teddy and Billy's answers, and Danny's questions, she decided to risk it. She slowly opened her eyes to find Roxy holding her, and the rest of the group right there. "I'm not dead right? This isn't one of Alex's tricks?
He didn't use me t hurt any of you right?"

Angel let out a sigh of relief as Elvira spoke again, sounding much more like herself.

"I don't know what happened... It seems like she's okay... Things feel better now..." Nat still clung to Danny happy for the comfort.

Roxy pulled back to her usual shape and hugged her close. "You aren't, El. You are here! With us!" Roxy replied, cupping her face and kissing her gently. Grinning, when she pulled back, Roxy blinked back tears. "I love you."

Sebastian relaxed, his arms dropping to Angel's waist. "It's over...we're all good."

Danny nodded, snuggling into Nat.

Elvira lost it and tears fell freely down her cheeks. She couldn't stop whispering 'I love you' in Roxy's ear as she hugged her tightly. She hadn't given up, but she had prepared herself for a long wait battling with Alex constantly. The fact that she had been returned to her family so quickly made her heart soar.

Angel turned around to hug Sebastian, her wings moving appropriately so that he wouldn't get hit with them. "It's over..." She repeated before she kissed him.

Nat hugged him tightly, very happy to have the monster that 'owned' her no more than a memory. She was free. Completely.

Roxy held her tighter, burying her face against Elvira. "I love you too. Whatever happened, whatever he did, you are safe. We'll have ending. I'm here. You can tell me as little or as much as you'd like about it."

Sebastian smiled, kissing her back while lightly brushing his wings over her wings. "Our family is safe." He murmured quietly.

Billy and Teddy wrapped their arms around Roxy and Elvira, leaving an arm open to invite the others in. Danny teleported Nat and himself over, curling into the family hug.

"I just want to think about you and our family and anything but him..." Elvira hadn't let go, and didn't plan to. She had almost lost everything in a few short moments. Simply because she didn't know when to take a break. With Alex controlling her, she could have killed someone. She put the lives of the team, of their family on the line because of her pigheadedness.

Angel sighed softly as she leaned into him. "They are..." She spotted the bigger hug and gently pulled him over into it.

Nat shifted herself into her half dragon form so that she could hug people more effectively.

Roxy nodded, rubbing her back. "Then that is what we'll talk about. I love you," she murmured, curling close and smiling softly. "We all do."

Sebastian chuckled, kissing Angel's cheek as they joined the hug. He was satisfied with life. And things only looked brighter now.

"Should I get us home?" Danny asked.

"I've got it," Billy replied. "After what you took? Rest is better. I don't say it because you are young. If anyone took that hit I would be telling them to rest. Including this guy," he said, patting Teddy's back. Teddy rolled his eyes and kissed his mage.
