The Night Shift (1x1)
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Private RP → The Night Shift (1x1)"Yes it does!" Nat giggled, finally shifting back into her human form.
Me too, Angel leaned into his touch, just happy to be with him. A thought passed through her head that they might not need to be too complicated when it comes to bedding, since Billy enchanted his scarf. Meaning that they might be able to share a dry bed. Unless they found a way to let her change at night as well.
"That sounds good," Roxy replied, curling into Elvira.
"Think we'll bunk together or separate?" Danny asked. He had grown used to sleeping with Nat nearby.
Sebastian kissed Angel's cheek, smiling as he listening to her thoughts.
"I hope we can bunk together... I've gotten quite used to sleeping on your tails..." Nat chuckled gently ruffling his hair. Which actually felt like his tails, but not quite as soft.
What do you think? I mean, I'd be quite happy to sleep as a mermaid if I got the chance, but if that wasn't possible, would you be okay with a dry bed? I'd figure out a way for you to have a pool thing right next to the bed in case of emergencies... Angel snuggled her nose into the crook of his neck.
Roxy giggled, looking over at the pair. "Well, they love life and live to the fullest, now that they can. I'd be happy to take you to visit."
Danny reached over, hugging Nat. "Same with me, but with you being on my tails. It is comforting knowing a potential crockodile is guarding me."
I am up for either or. Both would be fun! Which would you prefer? Sebastain asked, hugging her close.
"Exactly." Nat giggled as she hugged Danny back. "And I plan to get a job so that I can help pay for things." She smiled.
I think both would be good. Some nights in the water and some spent dry... And if we got a heated pool for in the winter? Oh I'd love that. Angel was happy to be in his arms.
"I've got you covered there," Noh said, getting the young man's contact info.
"I would like to as well, if I can," Danny said, not sure what he would do.
Oh, that heated pool idea...yes please! Sebastian purred. Think we can find a way for our mage friend can lend a hand to see of it'll stay. If he will give a way to turn it on and off.
"Well, maybe you should finish school first? I haven't seen others your age with a job... Unless I've been looking in the wrong places..." Nat was now trying to remember if she'd seen a younger person with an actual job.
That's what I was wondering. However, that's a lot to ask of him, so I've been trying to come up with a way to give back to him... Angel smirked at the purr.
"Thank you all for having me. I am going to head out for the night," Greg said, bowing his head before moving to hand out handshakes, not sure if he was hug worthy yet. Roxy cleared it up with a brief hug. "Have a good night. We'll let you know when we know when we plan to leave."
"Maybe not yet...but I can help with stuff. You plan to help Sebastian, right? Maybe I can help there until I am old enough," Danny said, really wanting to do something to help contribute.
Very true. What can we give back? I am not sure what they would need or want... Sebastian sighed, settling closer as he watched Greg get ready to leave.
"That's true, I think you could do that." Nat nodded knowing that he could help move things once she and Sebastian got it onto the shore.
I don't know... Maybe one of my feathers? It's not much, but it's very special. When it was her turn, she hugged Greg as well.
Danny grinned, looking rather smug. "Thanks you! I would appreciate being a help. And you guys know I can do that. Better then laying at home."
Sebastian nodded, hugging Greg briefly. I can offer a scale. I think they wouls like them. They are very valuable and a reminder to us.
"Exactly. Now that I'm free I want to do everything I can, so I understand what it's like not being able to do anything." Nat nodded, and when Greg came to them, she half shifted into her half croc shape to hug him.
Angel hugged Greg next. "Thank you for arresting Roxy and El, if you hadn't we'd never have met you." She winked. That was my thinking. Perhaps we could make something with them? An ornament perhaps?
Greg could only chuckled at Angel's remark. "Have to say, I am pretty happy I did as well. I don't think anyone will mess with me here. I am too unassuming. Not nearly as exciting as all of you. Though, I do suppose it is rubbing off on me now. Goodnight!" With that, the young man set off for home. He let Elvira know he got in just fine.
"I get that too. I get to live without fearing I didn't do things exactly right. It is freeing," Danny agreed.
what about making one of those chimey things? A...oh, what is it called...wind catcher! Or is it dream chimes... Sebastian mused, sending her an image of wind chimes and dream catchers. He assumed they did the same thing and were just decorative land walker stuff. He liked the sounds they made so long as they weren't too high pitched.
"Alright. I think showing some rooms are in order. Where would people like to sleep? Nat, Danny, are you two bunking together? And Angel and Sebastian, would you like a bed or a pool? Magic and all that so if you want an anti gravity room, a clown themed room, or any other special request, say so now," Billy said, wiggling his fingers. "Anti gravity, you say," Teddy purred, nuzzling his mage.
"Nope, nope, I am so out at that. Come on, Altman, we are right here," Tommy retorted. "Get your mind out of the gutter then, Shepherd," Teddy shot back, shrugging with a smirk. Tommy rolled his eyes, but was silenced by a kiss from his husband. "You like anti gravity too," Noh reminded the platinum blond. "True...you going to take me out for a ride in your ship, spaceman?" Tommy asked. Noh winked. "Maybe once everyone is in bed we'll sneak out."
Nat gasped and looked to Danny. "C-could we sleep in a jungle type room? What do you think?" If she had a tail, it would have been wagging.
A dream catcher, or a wind chime. We could do something that's a mix of the two... If I used a couple of feathers and tied them below a couple of your scales, I think that would work. But only two... I don't think I could deal with more than that... It hurts to pull feathers. Angel gasped and nodded. "A pool would be amazing please!"
Billy grinned, loving both ideas for the other couple of rooms. "I assume we will need fins again? Perhaps a different outfit? And do we need any special bedding in either?"
"It would be cool to have a hammock bed to sleep in, if it isn't too much trouble. Jungle room sounds awesome, Nat!" Danny beamed, offering Nat a high five.
Sebastian shook his head. "Just a soft bottom of the pool would be nice. Warmer water if you don't mind."
"All simple enough requests. I see no reason why they won't work," Billy said, leading the way.
"I would greatly appreciate fins." Angel looked up at Sebastian and then over to Billy. "I don't really know what mermaids sleep in, so whatever you think would be easier... Though something comfortable would be nice."
"Oh yeah!!" Nat returned the high five and leapt onto Danny's shoulders as a little gecko.
"I figured I would leave you with a pair of pajamas in the room or at the very least a robe in case you need it. You'd both be covered in scales until you get out of the water," Billy explained, opening a room for Nat and Danny. The soft sounds of the jungle poured forth. "Alright, kiddos. Your room. No bugs or animals, but plant life and I took the liberty of adding a sound machine. There is your hammock."
Danny stared open jawed at the room as be walked in, Nat on his shoulder.
Sebastain chuckled at the expression on the young boys face. "Yeah, I think they like it," he chuckled.
"Thank you Billy," Angel said, but fell quiet as the youths were given their room.
Nat's little mouth fell open, much like Danny's.
"I think you're right on that one," Angel chuckled.
Danny grinned, coming back out to give out hugs.
Nat leapt off of Danny's shoulders and shifted back by the time she landed in front of Roxy. She very happily gave a hug to Roxy. "No need to steal hugs!" She giggled.
While Nat was hugging Roxy, Danny hugged Elvira. He smiled, realizing he was taller then he was when he first met them all.
