Jack hurried to the party, trying to act like he wasn't being hunted. He looked around the room, noticing that the Aprell, the mirage girl, was absent. Jack hoped that Jason hadn't chosen her for his hunt. That could turn out bad for him. Jack to a sip from the punch bowl, wincing at the sugary taste. He really could go for some nice, cold elixir.
Jason hid in the bushes, trying to get out of the monster's line of site. He could've taken it down if he had prepared, but he hadn't. Jason ran away, so light on his feet that even an owl couldn't have heard him hunting it.

She was completely unaware of the attempted murder. She shrugged as her illusion reappeared, and the threat was over... at least, until the illusion disappeared again. She headed to the party, still confused about what that was.

Frank grinned as Aria met him. "Alright, we're all set!" He said, chuckling. He walked over to Jack and engaged small talk with him.

Jason casually walked up to Jack, rudely interrupting his conversation with Frank. "I have to go back to Hell for a little while to train. I will come back within the month." Jason said to Jack. Jason then walked away. Jack turned back to Frank. "Sorry about that, but Jason really wants to be strong. What were you saying? I forgot." Jack turns to the door just in time to see Aprell walk through. So Jason was running from her. Jack chuckled to himself. Then he realized something. HE was strong enough to take anyone down here. But without Jason's influence, he didn't want to. Jack turned back to Frank.

As Aprell walked in, she nearly tripped. Grumbling at her own mistake, she straightened up and glanced around.

After talking to Frank, Jack took to the sidelines, looking for anything out of the ordinary, if you count anything in this school ordinary. Jack spots a girl who's name is Aria, as the spirits say. She seemed to be enjoying herself at the party, oblivious to Jack. He headed back to his dorm, the sounds of the party pounding in his head.

Aprell frowned. She hadn't talked to anyone much, so she was pretty alone for now. She guessed she might as well take advantage of the cheery atmosphere and make her self feel happy for once, but... it was hard to take part of something she obviously wasn't going to be included in. For now, I suppose, she thought, I'll just keep my head down and my voice quiet. Now isn't the time to rile anyone up.


((Also! I finally drew human Aprell.))

Aimee scampered to follow Aprell. She meowed when the girl nearly tripped, worried. She weaved between her legs, turning and looking up at the girl. She wanted to be picked up.

She glanced down at the mewling cat, looking as if she was about to laugh. "Thanks for your concern, kitty, but I think I'm capable of taking care of myself."

Aimee meowed again, pawing lightly at the girl's feet. She waved her tail, meowing. She stuck out her tongue and her ears twitched a bit. She mewed lightly.

Aimee purred, rubbing against the girl's neck. She loved being carried, but she knew to make friends she'd have to turn human again... She thought about how awkward that'd be when the girl carrying her/her roommate found out. She meowed softly, like a sigh.

She glanced up as Frank began to speak. She acted somewhat awkwardly, every so often adjusting so she didn't drop Aimee.

Jack remembered about asking Aprell about how she created her illusion. Jack went back down into the swarming, pulsating mass that was the party. Jack eventually found her talking to Frank. She was trying to hold a cat awkwardly in one hand so Jack asked Aprell if she needed help, indicating the cat.

She looked over at Jack as he asked. "I can hold this cat all by myself, thanks," she said in an unnecessarily dark tone.

Aimee mewed, as if agreeing with Aprell. She turned her head, looking at the two boys. Her little tail swayed, and she blinked lightly.

Jack backed away respectively, eyeing the cat, who seemed to be eyeing him back. Jack bared his teeth at the cat. It reminded him of the werecats he had seen before.

Aimee hissed, glaring at the boy. Oh, she could show him true pain. If only she could get her claws in his eyes, he wouldn't feel so tough then.
