"Woah, dad this is cool!" The little eevee marveled.
"You know, you don't really need to call me dad, because that would make your mom-"
But the kids weren't listening. They bounced up the steps.
Elf grinned. "I wonder who they're real parents are... A handful, these lot."
He sighed and went to the cabin, putting down his stuff while the trio did something outside.
"Really hope they're not tearing everything apart." He half joked to himself. "Wonder where Pan is? Been a loooong time...Long enough for certain THINGS to happen."
Something crashed outside.
Elf jumped and rushed out. There was a fallen pot plant.
"Who did this?" He asked the three eevees.
"Errrrrr, he/she did!" They all said, pointing to one another.
Elf sighed fondly. "Come on, who did this?
The trio looked at each other and pointed in a different way, but still pointing at one another.
Elf groaned.
"Having trouble with your kids, little brother?" A voice said behind him.
"Auntie Joce!" The three eevees said, scrambling over her.
"Woah there. I think we shouldn't have brought them." Said Joce, who was occupied with eevees scrambling on her back and head.
Elf shrugged. "We couldn't just leave them home alone. Who knows what they could do!"
Joce chuckled. "Let's go find the others."
Elf: "Kids! Stop climbing on my sister!"
"Yes, dad!" They said, but still didn't climb off.
Elf laughed at Joce's expression.
”Mysterious… surprising… and law-defying… Isn’t that right?”
Elf heard a nice singing voice. Joce was inside packing her stuff, and the kids were with her, pestering their guardian aunt.
The beat was stuck in his head, and he went to find the singer, starting to sing along too.
"Hey, it's Uncle Rapids!" He yelled, and the trio scampered over to him.
One of the three eevees started asking: "Uncle Rapids, is it true what Daddy said that you and Auntie Joce were married?"
Joce appeared to not have heard.
