"*As a human living in the UNDERGROUND, monsters may attack you.
*You will need to be prepared for this situation.
*However, worry not!
*The process is simple.
*When you encounter a monster, you will enter a FIGHT.
*While you are in a FIGHT, strike up a friendly conversation.
*Stall for time. I will come to resolve the conflict.
*Practice talking to the dummy."
Toriel looked at them.
"*Oh! My children, I haven't gotten your names."
Ginger looked at her. "I'm Ginger."

She stared at the dummy.
*How do I talk to this?
*Should I really be asking that?
*Should I be concerned for my sanity?

Ginger cut her off.
"*Let me go first then, Evora."
Ginger went to the dummy, and a dark brown heart appeared in front of her.
*Ginger encountered the dummy.
Ginger smiled. She was about to push the ACT button, but she glitched red and moved her hand to the FIGHT button. She pushed it and smashed the dummy. It's dust landed on the tip of her stick.
You won!
You earned 0 XP and 0 gold.
Toriel looked surprised.
"*Ahh, the dummies are not for fighting!
*They are for talking!
*We do not want to hurt anybody, do we. . . ?"
A new dummy spun in, taking the place of the old one.

Her eyes glitched red before returning to normal.
Toriel didn't seem to notice.

Ginger followed Toriel out of the room.

The second time was I was going to do the geno run, but I heard flowey laughter each time I hurt something.
This time, I'm feeling guilty with resetting, and I'm doing the pacifist run, like the first time.]

The room opened into a small hallway.
Toriel glanced at them. "*There is another puzzle in this room. . .
*I wonder if any of you can solve it?"
She continued down the hallway.
Ginger followed Toriel.
