Asuna looks over to Nik and joins him while she's still holding her
Froakie and takes a breather. "Okay Froakie it's time for you to
go back into your ball and rest." She pulls out Froakies
pokeball and calls her back in and then she puts it back on her
strap of her backpack. She walks while thinking about the pokemon's
she want's to catch next.
She looks back and watches the others while standing next to Nik.
She smiles while relaxing and holding her skirt walking outside and
looks at the houses they will be leaving.
Ray followed Nikolai out of the lab after having collected her
Pokéballs from Professor Elm, and thanking him. Peering over his
shoulder, Ray could see, on Nikolai's Pokégear, that their first
gym would be a Flying-type Gym. Ice, Rock and Electric are
super-effective against Flying. she thought, quoting one of the
textbooks she read in her spare time. I'll need to do some
research on what kind of Pokémon learn these types of moves, so I
can help catch, trade and breed them for my friends who will be
challenging the gym. Glad she had a goal now, Ray happily swept
Ollie off his stubbt little legs and popped him on her shoulders.
Beaming radiantly, she turned to face New Bark Town for the last
time in a long while and waved goodbye.
Ray noticed others putting their Pokémon back in their Pokéballs,
and she felt a little self-conscious not doing the same, but she
decided to ignore the uncomfortable feeling and be happy she had
Ollie with her.
Nikolai looked back at the group and said, "You guys ready?
Because I want to reach the next town before the day ends.." He
glanced at his watch. They had already spent some time here at the
lab and now it was time to go. He was itching to get out into the
world and slow people were not going to keep him from leaving.
Without waiting for a reply he started towards route 29.
'Cherrygrove city is our next stop if I remember correctly.'
He thought as his mind wandered back towards the map his mother
showed him the day before. He pulled on his backpack straps,
tightening them so it would sit better as he walked down along the
path, keeping an eye out on any Pokemon that could potentially be
his next partner.
"I'm ready!" Ray replied excitedly, before bouncing after Nik,
checking behind her to make sure Ollie was there. I hope we get
to the next town before nightfall. she worried to herself. Ray
had stayed outside in a tent before, mamy times more than the
others, she imagined, but she felt a newfound anxiety due to the
new life she had to be responsible for: Ollie. Even though he would
be sleeping in his Pokéball, she would be keeping the Pokéball
under the covers with her in order to keep him safe. Allowing her
mind to wander and imagine the sorts of Pokémon they might see, she
followed the others aimlessly.
Andromeda walked outside of the Lab, saying her goodbyes to the
professor and his employees and letting Orion walk alongside her,
his pokeball strapped to her belt and her pokedex in her bag. Once
she steppe outside, he looked at Nikolai and smiled. "I'm ready to
go! I'm so excited about this! Could you imagine it if we saw a
legendary on our way! I'd love to see Suicune!" She rambled her
voice trailing off with a giggle as she caught herself babbling.
Ray giggled alongside Ann, agreeing with her. "That would be so
cool! I've read about so many different Legendaries we might see!
The one I really want to see is Ho-Oh, because a rainbow bird
sounds so awesome!" Oliie ran up beside her and laughed his little
Oshawott laugh just because Ray was laughing.
"Sha-hahaha-shaahawott!" he said joyfully. Ray smiled at him and
gave his head a little noogie.
Asuna looks at the others and just stays quiet looking at her book
reading about pokemon thinking of what pokemon she be interested in
having next and relaxes. "I wouldn't mind seeing lugia.....
heard he is a beautiful pokemon and has a beautiful song. But
besides that I wouldn't mind seeing any pokemon honestly."
Giggles while thinking and slowly walking while having my hands on
my pokeballs on my backpack strap.
She walks with her friends while thinking more and just relaxes
thinking about her grandfather who she knows is watching over her.
Nik nodded to them and started down the path, determined to catch a
Pokemon before reaching the next town. 'A pidgey would be
nice...especially once it evolves all the way through, that'll be
very handy.' He thought, half listening to his friends
conversation. "Mewtwo, that's who I'd love to face. Or maybe
even Arceus." He slowed down a bit and looked back at the
group, trying to contribute to the conversation. "Though I swear
I thought I saw Xerneas when I was younger back when I lived in
Kalos..." He rambled on and shrugged. It was a faint distant
memory, and well Nikolai wasn't a hundred percent sure it was that
Pokemon, but he liked to think that it was.
Andromeda walked along the path, Orion trailing along next to her.
"That would be really cool if that happened Nik!" Andromeda smiled
at him, shoving her hands into her pockets. "I feel like if I wanna
catch any Pokemon on this journey I'd definitely want an Espurr, a
Noibat and maybe a Poochyena. They're all so cute!" She said to no
one in particular, kicking a small stone along the path in front of
her.
