Leli strode into the lab, careful to not step on any of the Pokeballs. She saw one with a green leaf symbol on the top. Leli, of course very curious, was surprised to see a Snivy looking curiously up at her near it. "Well, I found it," she commented, gently hugging the Pokemon. "Alright, well, is everyone okay? Someone tripped and uh yeah..." She strolled over to the Professor. "I was totally not asking you if you're okay."

The Snivy had followed her, and she nearly yelped as it hugged her leg with its tiny hands. "That is literally the cutest thing I have ever seen," she whispered to herself. She held out a hand to the Professor, trying to help him up. "C'mon, I don't want this Snivy to be on my leg forever. She laughed awkwardly, trying to not lose her temper. As cute as the Snivy's actions were, they'd get annoying very fast.

Asuna goes in and catches a few pokeballs before they break and then hands them to the professor as she sees the froakie and smiles going to her. "Well hello there cutie. Would you like to be my partner and join with me on a great adventure?" She giggles while looking at the froakie and scratches it behind the ear.

As professor get's back up she smiles holding the froakie in her hands looking up at him as he is tall and she shakes a little studdering. "Uhm....pro......pro....professor? I have found mine.....Do you remember what pokemon my parents took as there when they went? I know they taught me everything about pokemon and breeding.....I wanna be like them as a breeder." She smiles and hands him the other pokeballs.

The froakie in her arms is smiling while looking around and has her arms over Asunas arms.

The professor smiled and watched them, "Yes I am perfectly fine girls. Thank you." He brushed off the dirt from his pants and took the pokeballs from Asuna. "Thank you. Ah your parents..hmm..I'm sure I have that somewhere in the computers." He looked at her, "But you really should pick the Pokemon you'd like, just like your parents did. And I think Froakie will really help you bring out your potential." He handed her Froakie's Pokeball. "You'll need this."
He then turned to Leli, holding out Snivy's pokeball. "Well it seems very attached to you. And this is something you'll need." He was glad to see that two of them had picked out their Pokemon. Another seemed to be almost close to her choice, and the other two were still debating.

Nikolai walked around, making sure not to bump into another of the Pokemon running around and causing a little bit of mayhem. He stopped and finally noticed the Charmander. Slowly he made his way over to the Pokemon and knelt down beside him. The Charmander looked up and stared at Nikolai for a moment before letting out some fire causing the redhead to fall back to just barely escaping the fire hitting him in the face. The Charmander laughed and Nikolai just sat on the floor a little confused as to what to do next. He did not anticipate this kind of reaction from the Pokemon.

Andromeda laughed as she watched Nikolai and the Charmander as the Fennekin started purr leaning into her hand. She giggled, and gently scooped it up, bringing the pokeball it came in with her. "Professor? Is it alright if I take Fennekin with me?" She asks shyly, walking up to him with the Fennekin curled in her arms, it's tail swaying happily. She looked around at the other Pokemon scattered about and smiled. "Would you like help gathering up the remaining Pokemon Professor?"

Asuna looks at him and nods. "My parents had told me about a pair they were breeding for someone and they were telling me all about them and how special they are and everything. I am going to be a breeder like them and i wanna start off with this pretty girl here." She giggles while looking at the others and thinking. "I do wish I could have picked some of the other ones too because I did want a Bulbasaur as a partner and also wanted a Tupig as the other one. But ohh well."

They both are watching the others while Asuna is just relaxing holding onto Froakie and pets her head.

I saw my friends go get their pokemon happily but I still don't know what to chose. Then a pokemon grabs something from my poket and eats it, then it looks up to me and smiles. "That was my last cotton candy." Then it just tugged my jacket as if it wanted more. "No" I said but it climbed up and stayed on my shoulder. Proffesor Elm laughed " I think this chimchar has chosen you as its trainer. Will you select a name for it?"
"Heat because its a fire type."

Asuna laughs at henry while watching as she goes and takes a picture to send to her grandmother and her parents smiling in it. Send the picture to them and then looks at the professor and talks with him with there was another pokemon that had decided to nudge my leg as i look down to see it being a Bulbusaur.

She kneels down to his height and smiles petting him while she's talking to the pokemon and just thinking. "I wish i could take him with me.....he is a sweetheart." She sighs but just stays there petting him while relaxing.

Leli stared at her new Snivy. "I think I'll call him-" Leli was cut off by a slightly high pitched growling from the Snivy. "Oh, I see. You're female then, aren't you?" The Snivy stopped growling and proceeded to nuzzle her leg affectionately. "Then I'll call her...Viper. Does that work, Snivy?" The Snivy nodded excitedly.

"Alright, then she is now called Viper," Leli continued before sitting down next to her Snivy and gently patting the grass snake's head. "We're going to be the greatest partners in the world," Leli commented. Her Snivy grinned and nuzzled Leli's hand. "Thanks, Viper."

The sun was very warm on face as she rolled over, opening her eyes to the blinding sun. The time on the alarm clock caught her eye though. 9AM!? She was late by half an hour meet up with her friends and Professor Elm at his Lab. Horrified with herself, she jumped out of bed, and pulled open her dresser drawers. She slipped quickly into some grey capris and a grey-and-white hoodie, and tied her short hair into two knotted pigtails before sprinting downstairs to the kitchen. Before running out to the barn to feed the Miltanks and say goodbye to Clover, she popped a waffle in the toaster, and bolted outside.
Dumping feed into the feed buckets, she saw her mom taking some of the calves outside on leads. "Thanks for waking me up on time, Mom." Ray said sarcastically. Her mom paled and looked absolutely appalled with herself. "Oh honey, I'm so sorry! The Walkers came over for pancakes and tea--"
"I don't wanna hear it, mom." Ray retorted before turning on her heel and walking over to Clover's stall. As always, Clover's nose turned up and her ears flicked happily as soon as she saw Ray, but her eyes were sad, as if she knew Ray was here to say goodbye. "Hey girl." Ray murmured, stroking the space between her ears, and resting her chin on Clover's nose. A few tears leaked out of Ray's shining eyes and fell on Clover's muzzle. She mooed softly, and Ray stroked her chin and looked in her eyes. "Goodbye girl." she murmured, before kissing her nose and running back to the house. She grabbed her waffle, which her mom had buttered out of remorse, hopped on her silver mountain bike, and pedaled as fast as she could towards town.

Ray stumbled into the lab, red-faced with exhaution, slightly sweaty, and out of breath. She knocked over a Pokéball onto the floor as she ran up to Professor Elm. "So sorry I'm late" she said breathlessly, shaking her hair slightly. "Mom forgot to wake me up, and I had to feed the Miltanks, and-- oh!" she exclaimed as a small, blue and white Pokémon had grabbed onto her leg and was smiling. It was a Pokémon, with a happy expression spread across its face. "Why hello there," Ray said, picking up the small creature in her arms. "What are you?" she asked, turning towards Professor Elm.

Professor Elm looked at her and smiled. "Well hello. Rayannelle. Ohh it's all fine I can understand sometimes things don't go the way you want them to. Also that pokemon there is Oshawott. Well here is the pokedex and pokeballs if you haven't already received some." He smiles more while lightly patting your head.

Asuna looks over and saw Ray and smiled. "I see that the sleepy head had finally crawled out of bed." She laughs while looking at her.

Andromeda smiled, looking down at the Fennekin and gently running her fingers through it's fur, giggling when it trilled with happiness. "I think I'll call you, Orion." She said, smiling when the Fennekin, Orion, looked up at her and gently butted his head against her chest. Andromeda looked towards professor Elm and then to the others, excited by watching the Pokemon choose their new trainers.

"Oshawott..." Ray repeated in a murmur. She smiled at the Oshawott and gave him a hug. He was slightly squishy and soft, and oh so huggable. He crawled onto her shoulder and hugged the side of her head. I think my starter has chosen me. she thought, smiling. "Can I keep him?" she asked Professor Elm, her eyes shining with happiness.

Professor Elm looks at Rayannelle and smiles. "Well didn't he pick you pretty much? So that means that you get to take him as your partner." He smiles more as he watches everyone with there new partner and friend.

Asuna continues to hold her froakie and smiles while looking down at the Bulbusaur and sighs a little looking at him saying softly. "I know you wanna go but I don't think I could take you. Maybe professor will let you go to the next trainer thats looking for a friend. Or maybe I can take you.....But I don't think thats possible since I am sure it's not fair for others. She looks at him while petting his head as she waits.

"Did you hear that, fella? You're my new partner! You get to adventure with me while I try to discover and breed as many Pokémon possible!" The Oshawott smiled back at Ray, and waved a little shell that she had previously assumed to be part of the belly pattern. Placing the little guy on her shoulders, she walked over to Asuna with a smile. "What should I name him?" she inquired, smiling at her and her Froakie. "I'm thinking Ollie." At this, the Oshawott brightened up and squealed with delight. "Osh-osh-oshawaa!" he exclaimed excitedly.

"Well..." He finally managed to get out. "At least you are strong." He shook his head a bit. "But no more flamethrowers at the face, otherwise I'll pick a different Pokemon." He sat up and looked at the Charmander who stopped laughing and stared at Nikolai with a solemn expression before nodding and holding out his arm (er paw?) to Nikolai who in turn smiled and shook it gently. "Good." He stood up and brushed his pants with his hands. "I'll be taking Charmander then." Charmander smiled and let out a blast of fire once more, but this time away from any one.

Professor Elm nodded, "Good choice. Now did everyone pick their Pokemon then?" He asked and handed Nikolai his pokedex and Charmander's pokeball. "Before you leave, we have some gifts for the six of you. Each of you will receive a map of the Johto region that will automatically download into your pokegear. As well as five pokeballs to get you started."

Leli smiled excitedly. "I think everyone has their Pokemon. I'm happy with my Snivy, but I'm willing to wait if anyone does some last-minute switching." She picked Viper up and rose to her feet. The Grass-type squeaked and tried to struggle out of her trainer's arms. "Oh, should've expected that," she commented, letting her Snivy down and allowing her to run around her trainer's legs. "Heh, I don't mind waiting still. I'll wait for like five hours if it's needed." Viper stopped running and lay exhausted by her trainer's feet.

Asuna smiles while looking at professor and holds onto Froakie. "I know I am ready to start my mission on being the best breeder out there like my parents are." She giggles while watching the others and taking the items while smiling as my gearwatch is going off and i look at it.

Andromeda smiles at the professor, cuddling the Fennekin close to her. "Yes sir, I do believe we are all ready to go! I'm so excited to see the Jhoto region!" She looked around at the others, giggling as she saw them all with their Pokemon.

Ray held up Ollie in excitement. "I'm ready to explore Johto!" she yelled, before realizing she has said that really loudly for the small lab. Slightly embarassed, she took Ollie down from her shoulders and set him on the ground next to her, patting his head lovingly. I hope I complete my Pokédex like the others, and become well-acquainted with different types of Pokémon. she thought to herself worriedly. However she brushed off the negativity by smiling, and mingling with her friends.

Professor Elm nodded and smiled at the enthusiastic bunch. "Well then, my assistant here will hand out your pokeballs and then you are free to head out. Enjoy your journey and remember to have fun." Said assistant walked up to each of the new trainers handing them the five pokeballs before walking away the box now empty.

Nikolai returned his new friend and clipped the Pokeball onto his belt, along with the five empty ones. He looked over at the group and said, "I don't know about you, but I'm ready to leave this...small town." He turned and headed towards the door, pulling his poke gear out and opening up the application for gym leaders. Though the next town didn't have a gym leader, the one after did. 'A flying type gym...an electric Pokemon would be great for that gym. Though I doubt I'll find one now...' He bit his lip as he shoved the door open from the lab using his back, his eyes glued to the screen in front of him. 'Hm if I remember correctly, rock and ice both do a lot of damage. I guess I'll just have to keep my eyes open.' He shut the gear and put it back into the pocket of his bag and turned around, waiting for the rest of the group to come out so they could finally start.
