@Melissa54923 - That means your egg was hidden on the page that appears when you go and edit one of your posts; as there was no post to edit selected, the preview gives you the red text, it does not mean your egg was inaccessible ;)

@Sharktibolt - Choose "Use item" for any of the evolution items in your bag.

Pretty frustrated at where my last egg was, it was on the last Halloween event page. If it was the last Easter event pages I could understand, but what about the last Halloween page seems not random?

In the end, I'm glad none of my eggs ended up being in the forums.
The hardest ones to find for me was the one in my Starter Pokemon's page (wasn't expecting it to be there), the hashtags page (found it by accident haha), and at the very bottom of the contacts link page, which was the last egg I was struggling with.
Felt so dumb when I found it on the last day, because I knew 100% I scrolled down on every page, but this egg was reaaally low, and I had all pages zoomed out to 50%, making it easier for me to find it xD

Overall, I got some pretty easy locations o: (In my opinion).

My hardest egg was one in the dw collection page, one in the hastag page and the last make me crazy I found it in the evolution pokemon page (need 3 days).

@Yuuko18 (sorry, I missed your post) - There's a difference between the page with all the notifications, and the actual 'notification wall'; what does the link say?

Next year, could we please not have eggs hidden inside specific gem exchange offers, nor inside random threads? Boards, sub-boards, important topics, and News threads I can understand.

Actually, they weren't ^^' Riako mentioned a few posts back that it's only for the preview, as a completed trade would always default back to the main Gem Exchange page.

During the actual event, any offer would've given you the egg, not just the linked one.
Same goes for the threads; any thread/page would've given you an egg, not just the specific linked one :)

I got really lucky in finding my last egg.
I made a post in this forum saying that after finding 19 eggs, I'd finally given up. However after I made that post I noticed that I'd made a typo, so of corse I went to edit it. Amazingly, the final egg was on the editing page, I hadn't even though of going there o-o
I'd spent ages looking for it and I found it JUST BECAUSE I MADE A TYPO AND WANTED TO CHANGE IT!

Jeez, 4995 people and only 270 people got the shiny (if my calculations are correct)

One of my eggs was on a totally empty page.... There was nothing to show how to go there or where it is......

If it's the Evolution page the egg will link to a page with no item associated with it, but basically it means if you tried using an item on a Pokemon (like a stone) it would have been there.

What grinds my gears now is I KNOW I tried giving items to my Pokemon when looking for eggs, but I don't believe I tried using any on them. :P

So for clarification to get the egg on the Gem Exchange page we actually had to click a link to exchange gems with someone? Not just enter the page? That's where my last egg was. I didn't even consider checking all of the "info" pages.

This event was fun. xD Got so flustered on my last egg, because it turned out to be directly on top of a banner on the style settings page and while scrolling through my eyes didn't catch it due to the colors. Did catch it a couple days later, but I laughed when I did see it.

I think you might be confusing Torkoal (which this event is based from) and Camerupt, evolution of Numel. Although Torkaol looks related to Numel/Camerupt, and comes right after them in the dex, Torkoal actually doesn't have any pre-evolutions or evolutions. ;)
