@ASG7, your Mega-Able Altaria is not holding a Mega Stone. You need to have it hold one before it can evolve.

With metal claw how can that evolve scyther? because its not wanting to work for me when i try and use it so I'm confused.

If i want a pokemon to not evolve do it needs to hold the everstone forever or just in the level it normally evolves?

Why my Venusaur not evolve to Mega Venusaur?
He's level 50+ and have mega stone, anyone can explain why its happen?

You need an actual Mega Stone item. You can either buy them or brew them in the Cauldron.

To add on, It has a mega bubble, which simply means it can mega-evolve. It still needs to hold a mega stone to really mega-evolve.

...The little image on the pokémon page, is the bubble ;)

You can get the actual stone (evolution item), by either boiling in the Gem Cauldron, after unlocking it (as mentioned before), find one in the Treasure Hunt (Game Center) or buy one from other users (if they're selling)

Yes, it does. Once you see the rainy Castform in your userbar, your Sliggoo can evolve. :3

You need to give your Cherrim an Energy Root, which can be found at the Emera Square's Prize Exchange. ^^
