failing portraying what I want is a constant theme lately.
have something that has a little more to do with the theme :'D

Not exactly things I fear, but monstrous creatures anyway.
(The top one is a creation of Ghaudi and the bottom one can be found in a park also in Barcelona.)

Drapes

Using a reference picture or an actual piece of fabric tied up somewhere in your place, draw the shapes of the drapes you see.
This is a bad reference.
This is a good reference.
Try and at least indicate shading if you can. It doesn't need to be coloured.
Also, try and get actual references of drapery, not someone's drawing.

Draw 3 different drapery pieces.

The hair in the first try went well, just don't look at the face... But I love the long curled hair.
