Riku grunts in response. "We're crippled vampires," He jokes. They enter another room full of tables. "This one is full of tables," Riku glances around. "Other than that, nothing seems to be standing out." He sniffs the air.

Khaalida laughs at Riku's joke. "Okay, I'll watch my step..." She grins and chuckles. She smiles as she feels the warmth from the sunlight through a broken window but sighs as she doesn't have to squint at the brightness.

Riku glances at Khaalida. She seemed pretty happy causing him to grin. "Hey...do you think that those humans will find us?" He asks wearily.

Khaalida's smile faded as Riku asked her the question. "I hope not... Now would be a very bad time for us..." She picked her head up and smiled. "I brought us into a part of the city I don't even recognize... They would have to travel a long ways before they found us. So we just have to hope..."

"Yeah, that's true." Riku agrees but is still wary. Vampires are our second problem...I never thought I would've have said that but its true...what if one is near us? He hated being negative but that thought nagged his mind.

"Where was your friend stationed?" Khaalida asks, her curiosity getting the better of her. "If you don't mind my asking..." She adds, not wanting Riku to get depressed about his friend.

Aurora looks at the blade of the sword to see it shine slightly brighter. probaly nothing she shrugs and watches as a leaf falls out a tree. she looks at the leaf and easily slices it in half before it touches the ground.

Khaalida grabs Riku's arm tightly attempting to keep him up, but having no vision, she trips on a plank and falls to the floor in a heap. "Are you okay?" She asks as she gets up on her knees.

(I am going to a 10 day camp and won't be able to post... I am very sorry for having to leave...)

Riku grunts in response, rolling onto his back. "I'm fine," He responds and picks up his wooden plank to get back on his feet. When he does, Riku leans back down to help Khaalida. "Sorry about that..." He mumbled, his face red with embarrassment.

"Yeah, it is." Riku laughs once again startling himself. He wasn't the type who laughed yet here he was. The vampire discarded his thought and smiles at Khaalida, even though she wouldn't be able to see it.

Khaalida's smile quickly fades, as she hears a noise from across the hall. She stands up straight, her head tilting and moving around trying to pinpoint the sound, which happened to be a mouse that knocked over a small scrap of wood as it foraged for food. "What was that?" She asks, her voice full of concern and slight panic at not being able to see the possible threat.
