omfg sorry i accidentally fell asleep
like 3 times during the day and i didn't remember to respond at
all))
Weaselmask picked up his head and stopped grooming himself, glaring
at Fern. "Why should I laugh exactly? What is the point in making
these dumb statements that you call jokes?" The piercing look in
his eyes could almost send chills down anyone's spine, or at least
he was trying his best to do so. He wasn't always this cranky, but
being woken up from a nap sure could get him steaming sometimes.
"Also don't call me Grumpymask, that's not my real name. And I
don't need your promises, I'll be just fine on my own, thanks."
Whiteleap looked up at Weaselmask. "Hey, shes a clanmate. You don't
have to be so rude to her you know, that isn't going to get you
anywhere in clan life." He snorts. "I may be the deputy but I'm not
even that pushy."
//OH SORRY OK HOLD ON//
Stonefoot sits up in his nest as he hears Flintstar come up to his
den. "Come right in Flintstar, you can ask me anything ye like to."
He yawns, drawing a paw over his ear.
"Right, let's go. Unless you need a rest Rosepetal?" Her sister
shook her head. "I can rest in my nest when we get home Shadedfur."
The two cats nuzzled noses a few moments before they started
heading back to camp.
The trek was difficult for them both, Rosepetal huffing from the
extra weight and Shadedfur doing her best not to limp. In fact when
they reached sight of camp she forced her paw down to the ground in
a stubborn rejection of her pain, walking smoothly even if she had
to grit her teeth to do so.
Weaselmask jumped a little bit when he suddenly heard the voice of
the deputy of the clan talking to him, although the collected
himself back together as quickly as possible. "Well hey, I wasn't
the one to disturb someone from their sleep. Ya think you'd be
kinda angry when someone wouldn't let you rest, especially when
you're tired, like I am." Almost hissing the last part he
turned his head, now facing the other tom that had come up to the
two cats during their little argument.
Whiteleap rolled his eyes. "If you want to sleep, why don't you
just go to the warrior's den? Nobody is going to bother you there.
You need to understand that sometimes Fernwing will just
be....well, Fernwing. Theres really no stopping her." He yawns
before padding away.
//Firelight idfk he's probably sleeping now or something
Stonefoot shakes his head. "Nah, I couldn't sleep anyways." He
said, beckoning Flintstar forward. "Now, exactly what did ye want
to ask about? Lots happened today." He snorts, knowing exactly what
Flintstar meant, but he decided to beat around the bush instead.
Rosepetal waddled in through the entrance first and booked it
straight to the nursery to check on little Ollie.
Shadedfur took a moment to sit outside the entrance and lick
herself clean. The badgers blood was pretty much gone, but the
scent still clung to her fur unpleasantly.
"Sleeping outside is so much better than in that small, cramped
den." Weaselmask muttered and watched as Whiteleap went.
Letting out a deep sigh, he got up and shook himself. Headed
towards the warriors' den, he ignored completely everything else on
the way. "'Oh Fernwing is just Fernwing'- then why can't I be
myself?" He complained to himself, imitating what Whiteleap
said in the worst way possible.

"You and Rosepetal will be the only ones," she answered with a
snort. "Let's just get this over with." With a bit of effort she
stood again and waved her tail towards the entrance. "After you
Snow Flake."
is that a reference to the song i think its a reference to//
Whiteleap paused, detecting the foul scent of badger wafting in
from outside the camp. Couldnt be. Shadedfur killed it, and she
herself left. But what if it was her?.... He thought, looking
towards Firelight's den.
Stonefoot laughed. "What, you mean choosing Whiteleap? 'Course
not!" he paused. "I think Foxstep would be proud of ye, you chose a
very brave, kind, and loyal warrior. I believe he'll be good for
the clan." He dips his head. "Shadedfur would have driven us to
anger and destruction. She felt as though one Killin' would make
her the best warrior in camp. If she were to come back, I'd thank
her for savin' yer life, but I wouldn't recommend giving her any
sort of power over leadership. It'd go to her head."
