The hurricane didn't get to much stuff luckily enough, the only thing destroyed was rural woodland.

magnolia ran to where her home was in the wood's to check if her house was okay.
a red Chao with midnight blue marking's floated out of the window and flew over to magnolia, sitting on her shoulder and nuzzling her cheek.
''glad you're alright little buddy...'' she sighed, rubbing under the Chao's chin.

''been a while since you've been in town huh gizmo?'' she asked the little creature on her neck.
