maybe like at random times on a certain page you can earn a free berry or item. but the chances of getting one would be low, but possible at the same time.


and for more items i suggest like boxes(from the pokemon mystery dungeon series) and summons(Like what pokefarm has)

the boxes would contain items like:
Coins
Trainerpoints
Summons
Gems
Berries
Regular items
coins
gold coins
or just be plain empty.

and the summons would bring you one legendary egg(of that summon with a lot of EHP needed)

I don't think that finding items randomly on a page is a really good idea. People could just refresh the page again and again and fill their item bag.
There are enough possibilities to obtain items - and there will even be more.

Boxes: Mystery Boxes do already exist. You can find them at the Rumble Areas (Which will be available from tomorrow)

"Summons": Something like this is already planned, but in a way more interactive system. Be patient till then! :)

The random item gain sounds interesting, as does the summons/boxes, but the item gain is what GPX+ has, and Pokefarm has boxes/summons already. The admins there might notice this, and might shut this site down or attack it. There's also copyright issues and such. These are nice ideas, but I don't know if we can use them without getting in trouble. We do have things sorta like them anyways.

well to be honest the boxes and random items are not exactly one site. virtuadopt has random arceus plates floating around. you just gotta click them. and summons don't belong t any site. @Buneary
[edit] plus a side note. kolink would not notice even if this would be a issue. he has been busy since he used and broke up with kinchoina.
