"I smell...mostly ocean water. I think I can smell a stale scent of Snake Root. Wait...Snake Root doesn't grow near the shore!" Silverpaw hissed, realizing that another cat might've crossed the border without them knowing.

"Palepaw!" Honeykit squeaked as she pounced on the apprentice's tail. "Ow...your claws are sharp and you're only three moons! I'll feel bad for the prey that meets death at your paws." Palepaw joked, cuffing his sister playfully on the ear. "It's so boring without you!" She pouted. "Then become an apprentice faster!" He said.

Wadestar chuckled at the siblings and resumes watching the camp. He smelled a faint seagull scent mixed with leaves. 'Cloudclan has been spying on us!' He thought.

Blackbird padded to the den entrance. "I might as well do some hunting.." She muttered and walked out.

Stormhiss flattened his ears as he walked. "Well if they keep getting close, we'll show them." He hissed almost challengingly. "Or at least, I will." He muttered as the smell of CloudClan near the border.

Pigeonpelt notices Frostpaw and pads over to him. "Want to come with me and collect a few herbs after you are done eating?" He asks his apprentice.
Moonshine sniffs the air, her eyes narrowing. "CloudClan..." she mutters.

Mossriver watched the apprentice. "Well, track them. I'm sure they will quiver at the sight of an apprentice of Tideclan." Mossriver teased lightly, "We will track them as far as we can and we will report back to Wadestar. I'm sure he's sent some warriors out for a boarder patrol already, so if we see them we will pass the news to them." Mossriver said.

Darkwater held back his amusement for the warrior he was following. He may not like fighting like the rest of the cats, but it doesn't mean he doesn't know how. Even if he was tired, and worn, he would still fight till he collapsed. "And I'll run around in a circle calling for help," Darkwater teased lightly.

Stormhiss rolled his eyes. "That'd be lifesaving." He looked around as they walked. "Do you scent CloudClan around here?" His tone changed as he sniffed the air, wondering if he was scenting them, or if he was just crazy.

"So, what herbs should we get?" Frostpaw mewed excitedly. (What are the book equivalents? Ex. Cloudclan = Windclan? Where do the gatherings take place? Do we have gatherings? Are we on an island? Can I kill off my own cats? Not that i would.)

Blackbird padded out and looked around. Great. Empty. She sighed and climbed up a tree, where she found and stalked a thrush, then pounced and quickly killed it. She hopped down with the bird hanging from her jaws and buried it for now.

Palepaw was running through the jungle (Yus, they on te island) and saw Blackbird. "Hello Blackbird. I hope Cloudclan isn't here! They could sneak into the territory without us noticing!" He raised his voice slightly, hoping she would get the hint.

Blackbird kept her fur from rising up in frustration. "Hello, Palepaw. I see Cloudclan has been causing trouble. I wonder what we should do?" She said in understanding, and pointed with her eyes towards the trees. Maybe if we keep hidden.. we can warn the clan in time.

"It's stale, I'd say a day, I checked last night, and it was fresh then. I broke away to track it and it crossed the water back to their side. I'm sure it was apprentices trying to act brave." Darkwater said seriously.

"Oh I'm sure," Mossriver mewed and followed his apprentice. "Don't lose it now, you almost did a few times now." he said.
