"Wadestar chooses his deputy by their personality. He wouldn't
choose a warrior that is impatient or rude to others. But they have
to be brave and able to handle the role of leader." Silverpaw said.
"I'm his sister after all, he has a reason to make me your
apprentice." She mewed. "Clan dismissed." Wadestar yowled and
hopped of Skystone. He thought for a second about what to do.
Darkwater held back his amusement of the kits and of what
Mossriver's new apprentice had said. He wanted to help his brother,
but he knew perfectly well that helping would endanger his
brother's training. 'After all, I can't walk him through
everything,' he purred softly. 'I should hurry and get in with the
hunting patrol, and soon after the boarder patrol. Or maybe I
should take a day to myself, and relax. I've been working my tail
off since yesterday. What with the extra patrols I helped with,
maybe I'll ask Wadestar.' Darkwater stood up and stretched out and
made his way to Wadestar leaving his brother to his teachings.
"Wadestar, have you figured out who to pick for the hunting
patrol?" Darkwater asked.
Mossriver looked down at Silverpaw, trying to imitate his brother
as much as he could. Didn't help when he dug his claws in the
ground out of frustration. "Well then," Mossriver said in a calm
tone, "We're going to have to work hard for you to be a warrior."
He knew that he would loose his temper from time to time, but it
didn't help when he was being teased by Darkwater when they were
kits. "Shall we get started on training? Or would you rather stay
an apprentice?" Mossriver asked in a humorous way.
Mossriver held back his amusement of Wadestar teasing Silverpaw.
"Well, let's start with going to a more spacious place to
practice." Mossriver said looked around for a moment to see where
his brother had gone. 'Gone. Oh well, I have an apprentice, can't
be helped.' he thought and stood. "Come along, wouldn't want an
apprentice running around camp," he said as he made his way out of
camp.
She rolled her eyes and followed her mentor. 'He might actually
be a god leader, if he wasn't that ambitious...' Silverpaw
thought as the younger she went out of camp.
"Stormhiss, can you go with Darkwater on a border patrol? I've
heard Cloudclan was getting close." Wadestar told the warrior.
'I hope Stoneclan and Fernclan won't come near as well.' He
thought.
Stormhiss and Blackbird were talking. "Just saying, you've more
work to do than me now." He teased. She hissed. "Okay, I get it!
Just quit it." Wadestar interrupted them. Stormhiss nodded. "Okay
then." He walked off. Blackbird looked at Wadestar. "Anyways..
thank you. I'm really grateful for this role." She mewed
thankfully.
Angel kit hopped around the place jumping on cats and rocks with
other things.
Cloudkit got up as snowkit was going 'ow ow ow' snowkit looked at
him and said "I'm good." Cloudkit purred to his brother as they
went back to play fight

"I would've chosen Mossriver if I hadn't found out his ambition to
be leader. You seem like a good warrior, so why not?" Wadestar
said. He felt unsafe, like somebody was watching them.
Blackbird felt a bit uneasy at his words. Not only that, but
something about the new role made her unsure. "Well.. thank you."
She mewed and glanced at Stormhiss. Maybe he is right.
White feather and his mate walked in camp together happily they
have a mouse to their kits. Coudkit and snowkit came over to them
and asked "when can we leave camp ?!"

Wade star leaped onto sky stone and stalked watched the
camp. 'Cloudclan might attack, be prepared.' He thought.
Palepaw noticed there wasn't any Snake Root, so he padded out of
camp. Suddenly, an orange tabby and a tuxedo started attacking him.
He thrashed and clawed wildly at them. He never had any experience
with fighting, but he managed.
Darkwater flicked an ear, but followed Stormhiss nonetheless.
"Cloudclan has been getting rather close," Darkwater said. He had
been on multiple boarder patrols and always smelled Cloudclan close
by. 'If I told Mossriver that I haven't been resting myself
properly, he would throw a fit. But I feel so uneasy with knowing
that Cloudclan is so close.' he thought.
Mossriver stopped near the water, and breathed in. "We will start
with your tracking, and take in our boarder as we go. Now, what can
you smell?" he said and knew very well that the water would be a
large distraction from other scents around them.
Frostpaw was sitting down in the Medicine Cat den, studying the
various herbs and items. Only to notice he was super hungry, he had
been up all night doing nothing. Frostpaw slowly padded over to the
fresh-kill pile to grab something to eat.
