Khomich leapt out again and smacked him, but didn't return to the shadow, and instead remained next to Void, glaring at him in human form.

Ember fell over laughing. "Imbecile!!"

Void looked hurt "Jeez" He said and transformed into his dragon form and flew off.

Draco was pretending to look like he was trying to hold back a laugh, he turned back around looked at Ember and Khomich "Idiots" he mumbled and transformed into his dragon form and flew after Void

Khomich growled, still in human form. She sat down facing the mouth of the cave.

Ember stopped laughing and rolled over to look at her. "You know, Void might care about you..."

Khomich glares at her. "I don't care about him though."

Ember smirks. "Really? Then why'd ya hit him?"

Khomich snorts and turns away. "Because he made a stupid choice that will impact him for the rest of his life."

Ember sighs. "True... But sometimes boys are stupid like that... And the times I've seen it, its because they're trying to impress someone, and usually a girl..."

Khomich turns back to her. "Void... Was trying to..."

Ember shrugs. "Perhaps... But it could just be that he has a kind heart..."

Khomich turns to the mouth of the cave. I haven't lived amongst anyone who has... Cared about me in a very long time... I probably hurt his feelings...

Rizka claws at the hunters' commander neck but at the same time he swings his axe in Rizka' s belly. They both fall on the ground.

Ember sighs and then looks around confused. "Khomich, where is Rizka?"

Khomich looks up at her concerned. "She led a group of hunters away... I haven't seen her since..."

Ember stands up and growls as she limps out of the cave. I never should have trusted her to bring Rizka home.

Ember trundles along towards the battlefield. Once she gets there she stares at the carnage left by Khomich and Void. My god... Where's Rizka? "Rizka!?! Rizka, where are you!?!?" She yells.

Khomich had followed Ember, but stayed in the shadows nearby.

Ember takes a deep breath and senses two dragons nearby. She runs off after Rizka. "RIZKA!" She roars as she charges through the body strewn field.

Khomich races through the shadows, keeping her distance, but staying close.

Ember sees Rizka laying under a tree. She runs up to her and kneels by her side. "Rizka... Oh god..." Tears begin to fall from her muzzle.

Khomich waits and watches silently from the shadows.

Ember whimpers. "Rizka... You're going to be fine... Come on... Stop talking like that..." She looks down to the "egg". "Rizka... I told Khomich to look out for you... She failed... I don't know if I can forgive her..."

Khomich sighs and emerges from the shadows in human form. She slowly walks towards Ember.

Ember picks up Rizka's head and cradles it in her arms. "Rizka... No... Why did you have to leave?"

Khomich walks up behind Ember, still in human form and pats her on the shoulder. "She was a great fighter... And seemingly a good friend..."

Ember turns to her. "And what would you know about being a good friend?"

Khomich sighs. "Not much. But I would like to learn."

Ember growls and then looks to the egg held in Rizka's claws. "I wonder who is inside..." She shifts into human form and takes the egg in her hands and walks back to the cave, Khomich trailing along behind.
