🎂 It's time to celebrate! 🎂


Happy 10th Anniversary!!! A very touching moment, PokéHeroes' 10th birthday! I cannot believe how much time I've spent on this site. Day in and day out. It's my favourite pokemon browser game. The 10th anniversary brings lot of things and sneak peeks into new ones as well. When I saw the Anniversary Mareep art I thought that the ball was its uniquely coloured Mega stone due to the wavy colours, but turns out I was overanalyzing things.

New retro legendaries are in town, Raikou, Entei and Suicune. Each of them will be available for two weeks via the Event Distribution. Their shiny chances are 2%. I'll definitely be interacting for them! I'll make a separate post later to record my progress on the new retro legends.

The green haired guy Keshi returned and turns out he plays a role in a new Ancient Cave quest where by turning in an Old Vinyl and completing some mini-tasks one can finally obtain Necrozma. I've activated the quest. It's about time that we receive a Wheel of Fortune notification option as well I'd say.

A bittersweet moment for me, we got a new Mew variant! It requires much more DP points to guarantee the event Mew being shiny and unfortunately I don't have enough for 100% chance since I've stopped grinding DP at the 41k mark and only got 2k more passively. The new Mew requires 15 Mew plushies (almost 90k DP) to be 100% shiny. Looks like I have a lot of work to do for the next year. But the shiny Mew I did prepare for is definitely coming home this year!

Koraidon and Miraidon will be available some time next month and other new Paldean Pokemon will be joining us this fall. From the looks of it, the "Paldean Outbreak" will feature the many Paradox Pokémon, not the Treasures of Ruin Pokemon, but I'm still holding on hope on seeing Chien-Pao soon. I'm personally more fond of the Ancient Paradox Pokemon so I'll probably get them first before heading for the Future ones.

Event Mew



✨ Shiny Mew ✨



The Mews are here!!! My Kanto shinyDex is also one step closer to completion and I'm currently hunting Porygon after which I'll move to Nidoran female and male. The event Mew is really cute and its egg is also very adorable. I hope that next year we can get the event Mew again because I'd love to get its shiny form. It would be sad if the evnt Mew gets removed from the anniversary Mew event and just gets shoved into the event shop. I'm working on the DP right now along with working on the Entei event distribution. Hopefully I get either a shiny Entei or a shiny Suicune.

Hi Diary! I usually don't write updates like this but Porygon has been really mean to me and I need to vent. As of writing this, I'm on chain 156. I began the hunt on 17th of June and still no shiny. I usually don't get annoyed if a shiny takes a while to hatch but since the daycare eggs come at a very slow pace it has been really disheartening. It gives me flashbacks to my first shiny hunt ever which was Eevee. I hatched the shiny at chain 462 and it was still my longest shiny hunt ever. I think it lasted six months or something like that because at the time we didn't have the shiny hunt history page as we do now (it was 2014). Hunts usually take half a month for me and a month at best. I'd like to complete the Kanto shinyDex and move to Unova but the little digital poke won't let me...

Early shiny at long last! Thankfully this ended quickly because the eggs were going at the speed of Porygon&Ditto eggs but there were 12 eggs from the tall grass that I've adopted as well.

🎄Christmas 2023 Event Pokémon🎄

I was expecting Xerneas and Yveltal to be new event pokes. Xerneas' horns coated with Christmas lights, balls and other ornaments was the first thing that came to mind when I tried to think about a new Christmas event special. But turns out that the event specials are Latias and Latios! That should have been more obvious since from day one of the advent calendar we knew that we were getting two new event specials this yea but looks like I had forgotten about these two haha!
