The current rewards for interacting:

• Extra PD
Dependent on how much you interact, and can be easily beaten by selling Pokemon/items.

• Golden Game Chips:
Rare, and can only be used in a very specific part of the Game Center.

• Dream Points
Dependent on if you choose to claim them and your current Dream Level. There are also other tasks that you can complete to earn them. Earning them isn't exclusive to whether or not you interact.

• Trainerpoints
This reward becomes extremely miniscule once you get far enough into the game.

On the surface, the rewards seem like a lot, however that really isn't the case. All of them are completely dependent on either how much you interact, how far you've progressed in a particular area of the game, or a combination of the two. Reaping the majority of these rewards to their fullest extent requires lots of time and effort.

I completely get that as someone who doesn't interact much, you feel like the addition of another reward for interacting could be unfair, but all the current rewards require lots of effort to really benefit from, as this one will be should it be implemented. As I stated before, I love that the concept of this reward and others like it is "The more you give, the more you get." I think another reward for effort being put into the game would be fantastic. However, my opinion is mine, and yours is yours. ^.^

@JustBananas
I don't believe this suggestion is to make Daycare breeding exclusively interaction-based. It's to give a boost to the current Daycare breeding rate that's activated by interacting. If you don't interact, your pair will continue to breed normally, but if you do, they'll breed at a boosted rate. There keeps being mention of the fee, but I'm not even sure how it factors into things. You'll pay the fee to get the eggs at all, and if you so wish, you can interact to get more eggs than normal. Everything else will remain the same. You don't have to devote any special time to interacting if you want eggs. They will still breed, but if you choose to go the extra mile, you'll reap the extra reward.

If this suggestion is implemented and players opt to take a chance on cheating and getting banned, let them. Does that same chance of an increase in cheating not also exist when the annual legend events (Kyurem, Zeraora, and Shaymin) occur? What about the recent Valentine's event? The Halloween event? Is this chance a reason to not have the events at all? When you implement something new, there will always be a risk of exploitation. However, unless the exploitation can't be dealt with (which, in this case, it most certainly can), it's hardly ever a reason to forego giving players something that can improve their experience should they choose to take proper advantage of it.

Support! I'm all for not only providing another incentive to interact, but also making interactions feel like more of a core site feature. I also appreciate that this feature, if implemented according to what the majority of those who support it appear to favor, wouldn't be the only way to get eggs and more of an optional means to boost your current egg breeding rate. Again, optional. Your pair would still breed normally, but the more you interact, the more eggs you'll receive. I don't really see why there's such an issue with adding a completely optional feature that allows you to get more eggs if you more actively use the site. The more effort you put into PokeHeroes, the more things you'll get out of PokeHeroes. It isn't required, but those who do extra get extra. I'm in complete agreeance with that concept.

I disagree with the idea that making interacting a more rewarding activity would be bad just because there are a minority of players who personally hate it, and as a result, feel like it shouldn't be as rewarding for players who are willing to interact a lot/enjoy interacting a lot. If this suggestion were to make your breeding rate completely interaction-based, then no, I wouldn't support it. However, the direction this appears to be going in is simply an optional alternative means to get more eggs that doesn't require you to expend nuggets (the pricing of which is currently exploding for some reason) for your hunts.

The current way to get more eggs requires payment of valuable resources, which is completely fine. However that way leaves out those who are active, but not at the point where they can spend those resources on hunts or those who want to save them. What, genuinely, is the issue with PokeHeroes being more interaction-based than it is now? PokeFarm Q (a game I and many others here don't even play) is heavily interaction-based, so...that should influence how things operate on a completely different website? You don't want PokeHeroes to reward more interactive players (again, at no cost to those who aren't as interactive) simply because you personally don't enjoy interacting? I don't intend to be rude, but I sincerely don't understand that reasoning.

Welcome!! It's very nice to have you here. Here are a few tips for starting out!

• This early into the game, your primary source of income will be interacting. You can also sell the Pokemon you get from the lab, but I don't recommend this. I suggest you keep the Pokemon for your Pokedex, as here, if you get rid of a Pokemon, you'll also lose its dex entry.

• If you plan to interact a lot for Pokedollar, I recommend saving up and purchasing the Amulet Coin () from the Item Shop. It'll double the amount of PD you receive from interactions. I encourage you to interact a lot right now since Kyurem's in town, and up until the 17th, every interaction has a small chance to trigger an encounter with it.

• A great goal for starting out is completing your first two badge sets. While doing this, you can also work at filling your Pokedex for each region.

• A goal you can set for later on is saving enough PD for the Pokeradar. The Pokeradar allows you to shiny hunt Pokemon, which is my personal favorite activity.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask me. I'll always be happy to help! ❤

Yes, the Treasure Hunt is especially difficult to win, but it's only because of your odds of picking the correct chest. A 1/9 chance is equivalent to only an 11.1% chance, which is pretty low. A 1/9 chance also does not guarantee that after nine tries, you'll pick the correct chest.

I understand that the Treasure Hunt is a teensy weensy bit annoying, but I don't think it's unfair. This is, however, just my opinion. ^.^

Hmm. Thats an excellent question. I would have answered that a list of that sort is definitely against the rules, but you mentioning that there are differing opinions even among the moderators has me unsure.

Since there appears to be no official consensus on this, I would opt to contact the user privately letting them know that you've banned them from your thread and giving your reasons for doing so. I can see how having a list of banned users up for everyone else to see could be considered naming and shaming, as it's essentially telling the public "Hey, user XYZ did something bad enough to get banned from here."

So, for my final answer, I'd advise against it in favor of handling things privately. It'll keep you safe until there's feedback from the staff. ^v^

The Shadow Radar is something that, in my opinion, is worth it if you spend a lot of time grinding with it. When I say a lot, I mean a lot, as in catching hundreds of shadows. Id recommend saving up for it if youre willing to dedicate lots of time to catching enough shadows (likely 150+) to really begin profiting.

In order to save for it, youll probably need to cut down on legend-buying and really focus on interacting and saving up the PD you make from selling. ^^

Go to Settings > Profile Layout. This will pull up a page in which you can customize the panels on your profile. Some boxes will be unchecked, and therefore faded out. This means that they arent visible. In order to make them visible, all you have to do is check them. You can also re-arrange them by clicking the little up and down arrows to the left of the boxes.

If youd like to know how to further customize your panels (editing text, adding images, etc), you can take a peek at Max's BBCode Guide. This guide explains how to work the BBCode here to add your own flare to your profile. Everything regarding BBCode will work in profile panels, signatures, private messages, and forum posts. However, changing the color of text and adding images does not work in PalPad messages, feeds, or feed comments. ^v^

You'll need to purchase the Pokeradar from the item shop, charge it, then begin hatching eggs of the same Pokemon species until you hatch a shiny. As you hatch eggs, your chance of hatching a shiny will increase until it caps at 1.25% (40 eggs). ^v^
