Celeste winced at the aloe, though….quickly calmed down with the scent of the flowers engulfing her. It felt like things were growing and sprouting around her, but, with fear and nerves wracking her body and mind she could only look up at Evelyn. It wasn’t until the kirlia spoke that Celeste was broken out of the sort of trance, looking back at her makeshift dress with wide eyes. “Wow, that looks…Wow.” She breathed out with awe in her eyes and a smile on her face. “Thank you its- its beautiful but—why?” She asked, looking back up at Evelyn.

Celeste had long since been laying down on her side, a few feet away from the group but still listening in. She had found her egg in a lab of sorts—it didn’t look very big, maybe a local one to the town; though it still had sort of…experiments going on. There were more then her egg there, and she felt a pang of…sadness? guilt? whenever she thought back to how many other Pokémon she couldn’t save as the explosion hit. There was a burn scar on her side and stomach, though she was able to cover it with her fur—or, a slight illusion of it.

She perked her head up sleepily as her egg got up, causing her to roll onto her back and stretch. “Good morning buddy.” She mumbled, the sleep evident in her voice.

Celeste jumped slighting at the sudden appearance of Evelyn, tail puffing up slightly. “Another one?” *She said with a sigh—A playful one, but a sigh nonetheless— “So many newly hatched pokemon.” She said with a small smile, looking down at her own egg.

“Hm…with the leg shape and color, I’d assume a riolu. But I can’t be sure, theres so many varieties of pokemon out there.” She said thoughfully, tail curling around her legs. The egg donked its head into Celeste, who smiled and wrapped her tail around it to.

Celeste turned to the waking group, smiling before walking over to greet them. The heard a crack from her egg, ears perking as she stopped walking to check on it.

The pokemon in the egg had kicked its legs through the egg, and was now….standing. She laughed with a grin, looking down at the egg. “Eager to get out of there buddy?” She commented amusedly. She continued walking to the group, egg now running close to her side so it didn’t trail off.
