The man turned to look at her. The paw shifted back into a human hand, but his eyes burned into her. They were a glowing white. He took notice of her necklace. "Oh! Oh my...I feel..." He trailed off, taking notice of the others that had also approached silently. They bore a green and pink amulet similar to the one the girl questioning him was wearing. "This is it. You." He pointed at the three of them. "All of you, get your friends. His head tilted up toward the clouds. "I....think you need to follow me."

It looked like no more than a human shaped blob, yet it managed to look smug. He lifted it up again, leaving his claws stained with the wet paint. "It worries me, yet I can't figure why?" Roran shook his head. "No guarantees...we can try to avoid the Outsiders, but if it comes to a confrontation, we'll be better of if we stay together."

Winter nodded, flexing his claws. Kiro had trained him well, and he needed to trust his fighting skills to protect anyone. Even if they weren't lucky he knew they--well, him and Roran at least--would come to a battle sooner or later in the fight to save their friends. It was good to be travelling with a group he at least somewhat knew, even if it only was for a little while.

Roran showed no signs he had heard the Staraptor as he returned to Winter, peering over the apprentice's shoulder. Normally Roran would be accompanied by Kiro on a trip to these mountains...but the Zacian wasn't here now. They'd have to hope their own strength was enough to protect the group. Roran could see a few in the group surrounding him that he wouldn't trust alone during an Outsider attack. He glanced back at the silver, steel sword in the sheath attached to his armor, identical to the smaller one Winter carried. Kiro had made these swords for them, and now it was the only thing they had of him.

Winter was tracing his paws along the map. "I've been to these mountains on a couple occasions...." He reported. "Admittedly I've never attempted to approach it straight from this side before, though. We tend to avoid them after all. I do know there are a couple of landmarks that should lead us to the base. The Guild taught us to read the signs if we ever came to them..." He trailed off, why hadn't Hydra told them this? Had she forseen Roran and Winter would be able to tell them. He remembered Emerald was here as well, and he had been there before, perhaps she hadn't seen the need. Interesting.

Nova looked up at Kiwi. "Have you ever been to the Mountains before?" She asked the team leader. Surely the great Kiwi had been on this trip before. She'd be able to help them for sure. Surely she could add on to what the Vulpix was saying? She tilted her head as the Vaporeon replied.

"I've been to the mountains, yes. Not these particular ones, though...This is a very dangerous journey...I know those mountains to be crawling with enemies. When we go there, don't you dare wander off, understand?"

Nova nodded vigorously. Suddenly she was a bit nervous of the journey ahead. She'd heard about the Outsiders, who would attack innocent Pokémon to the point of near death for no reason. How anyone who survived the attacks was taken to join them, and the Pokémon who returned were never the same. Those who didn't survive were left alone to die. She wasn't sure what the Outsiders or their Leader, Emerald, the scared, huge shiny Dragonite wanted...honestly, she just hoped someone would stop him. Or...is that supposed to be me? She thought.

Roran grunted and turned to go back to his apprentice. Admittedly his anxiety had made him a bit easier to anger than usual. The Alolan Ninetales normally had a much calmer demenior, yet in any case, he hated seeing someone so casually lie just to sound cool, about something as dangerous as this. He only hoped the Staraptor was educated enough to see through it, but he saw the sense in backing down now. No use wasting his time with a scam artist. Though his last jab had been a challenge, but it seemed the dark type had the sense not to push his lies further, and Roran had to respect him for that. He returned to Winter, who was attempting to allow the rest of the group to see the map and discuss the next course of action. It was clear Hydra expected them to work together. After all, there had only been one map given to the group.

The Ninetales rolled his eyes. He knew this creature was lying. "And what mountains are you talking about? Certainly not these ones. That place has no bandits. It is crawling with Outsiders. Those guys would not let a salesmen of any kind through their territory without trouble." He narrowed his eyes, leaning into the canine's face. "What do you know of the Outsiders? If you expect me, a seasoned warrior, to believe you made it past creatures willing to kill merely to show off, you're delusional." He took a step back toward the group. "I can see why you would choose not to come with us. You would see the danger there."

Roran's ears pricked as he overheard the conversation with the mightyena nearby. Oh no! This was not a good thing, considering what the wandering warrior knew about the mountains in question. "Winter, you look at the map, I'll be right back." He ordered the Vulpix before he intercepted the two. "I can assure you they certainly do not. No traveller with a brain would go to those mountains with only a sales cart and make it out alive. The Guild of Warriors makes their base there, but so do the Outsiders, or didn't you know?" He said sternly. "Even I have the sense not to travel there alone."

Team Eclipse basically just ended up following them. It seemed as if their next step was the mountains as well, and it seemed as if that Ninetales had taken the map.

Roran and Winter were outside at this point, making their way casually past a Noctowl and Mightyena that had clearly been snooping around outside the mansion. Roran stopped and looked at the map. "It's the Guild Mountain. We've been there before. If Reye and her friends know something, it wouldn't surprise me."

Winter nodded. "It'd be nice to see them again." the last time Winter had seen the Shaymin was a while ago...and before the incident had happened.

Hydra shooed the Pokemon fussing over her away with her dud head. "Go away, I'm fine!" She snapped, bringing herself to her feet. "It was just a vision, I'll get over it. Now go! I gave you what you sought to hear, and now I must rest." She left the room with her servants.

"So..." Winter began, looking at Roran, then Hydra leaving, then the others in the room. "I guess we have no choice now."

"Of course!" Roran snapped, uncharacteristically of him. "If our next step to finding our friends is in the mountains, that's where we're going, regardless of whether these others come along. Now let's go!" He took the map and ordered his apprentice, who nodded and turned to hastily follow him
