Alarik slowly brought himself to his feet. Curiously, there was a weight tugging on his neck, as if something were hanging from it. Sure enough, when he looked down, the little baby jangmo-o that he was raising was sleeping quite peacefully in the hood of his hoodie, that he always wore backwards for this purpose, as if nothing had gone wrong and today was simply a splendid time for a nap. He envied the little creature's innocence as he stroked the sleeping dragon gently.

Looking around, it would seem as if Alarik had awoken in Couriway Town. "Kalos..." He muttered. Something about the air just radiated Kalos, and not to mention the waterfalls in this area were quite unmistakable. It looked quite sad, though, and empty, with all the destruction. He knew that it was once lush and green, and bustling with activity. But now...it was hauntingly quiet.

He decided to head for the train station. That woman had promised he wasn't alone, and somehow his first thought had been that if there were any people in this dead town, they would have migrated there. After all, he had remembered that being the first thing that many migrant newcomers would see. Perhaps it would feel familiar.

Reagan had arrived at the building that had once been an active transport house, but now seemed sad and empty. She wondered if everyone was inside, and unconsciously, what Pokémon they had. If only trainers' Pokémon had been spared, then she hoped her beautiful Pokémon weren't the only fire types left. That would be horribly tragic. "Hello?" She called cautiously into the building. This was odd. She usually didn't actively seek social interaction, but yet she felt some level of obligation the stranger from her dream. And besides, no normal human wanted to be completely alone in this barren wasteland of a planet that it was now.
